of course...when it comes to PAYING TAXES....the church is all for seperation of church and state.....

like i said before....the bible is a good read....but i wouldnt live ANY PART of my life by it....or any other book of Fantasy
 
Im gonna get slammed for this but JUST MY OPINOIN....i dont think they should because if i have kids someday i dont want them growing up thinking its okay to be gay. man was created for a woman, a woman created for a man, equaling children.plus HIV/AIDS is already a probelm. I'm sorry but I just dont think its the way God intented.
 
I say hell yeah! Everyone is entitled to get married whether your heterosexual, gay or lesbian. I would be extremely proud if my gay friends got married. I think its a beautiful thing.

Who is anyone to say that it's wrong? If you find the right someone and you want to spend the rest of your life with them, who are you to say that it's wrong? If anyone wants a flower girl or a best "man". I will step up to the plate for you. Great Topic Chuck!

u know....one thing dat bothers me the most is people always putting god in the way of things that happen in life...im tired of shit..im tired of people saying but the bible says this n it says that.. ohhhhhhhh stfu.. ahh but anyways Yes they should there are crazier things now days that we should worry about rather then judging other people of what they are...
 
I believe that people should be able to be married no matter who they love or are involved with. Like alot of the other post say it should not matter who you marry we have bigger problems to worry about there is nothing wrong with a man marrying a man and a gir with another girl. Let them live,let them be and leave them the hell alone.

Gay is not a choice. I know cause I have cousins that I grew up with that everyone knew they were gay. No spoke about it because it was not something that older people spoke about. It was unheard of. When have we forgotten that this world has so many other problems like poverty in our own country, crime that we should sit here and down Gay people because they are gay?
and No Gay does not promote HIV/AIDS. Unprotected sex does. To say that HIV/AIDS is already a problem so is drug use. so is child abuse. how many kids are out there without homes? how many are them are abused? Growing up and thinking Gay is ok? It shows that two people can love each other. You don't learn to be Gay you are born that way.

As far as the bible is concerned a man wrote it. Not GOD. So how do we really know that what it says is true. I say live and let live. I am not GOD and I will not judge no one.

I agree with Lamatrix as far as the bible being man made.


I feel like this, even if they were to stop the gay marriages, it's not going to stop them from being together anyway.

lilshygyrl, that is natural. In society, it is considered good to be "normal", and being gay is "out of the norm". If you don't know someone who is gay, it will be difficult for you to learn about homosexuals.

I say yes also. This is a debate over legal ramifications which is pretty petty. Do they really believe that not allowing gays to marry will stop them from being gay?

I also think that the changes that would come from making gay marriages legal would be positive. People talk about children seeing 2 men or 2 women together being harmful to them. But those 2 people will still be together whether they are married or not so what's the difference, they will see it anyway! I also believe that it will help to prevent the people who get married and then cheat on the down low and bring back diseases to their families. If they are accepted for who they are in the first place, it will help to solve that problem as well.

I have to say this:::
The AIDS/HIV rate is higherin Hetrosexual Cpls than Gay cpls...and worse is It's highest among latinos and blacks.

I voted Undecided because I am PRO CHOICE.... IF it is the cpl's wishes then I will always be behind their choice.

now I think since most cpls are already living together, Hetero cpls after a few years are considered "common Law" why can't a gay cpl?
If my man and I split up after being together for 4+yrs I know I'm entitled to stuff. But I think it's really unfair that the Gov't won't recongize that.
 
I think that was something ignorant for anyone to say about the aids rate. I think that should never come out of anyone because that is not right AIDS is because of unprotected sex not gay relationships.
 
sure y not. it doesnt take away from hetrosexual marriages. y should gays not be able to share that same unity as str8 peeps. i also am for them being parents. i know alot of gays that r nicer then str8 peeps.
