Here's a poll, should gays be allowed to marry?

I definitely understand the emotional weight that the word "marriage" carries.

For that reason I understand why same-sex couples want to use that word to describe their union. I have no problem with a gay couple being "married", but I don't think it should be through the church (see above post).

BTW... Isn't life great?

I see no problem if its done by the church. GOD loves us all and gays should have the same right to do it by church as we heterosexuals do. While I understand the point being made NO ONE including THE CHURCH should tell them where to get married.

As forthe incident in my son's school it was taken care of. I told them that its ok if they dont want my child to do a report on gay marriages but in NO WAY are they to try and change his opinion on how he views things. I know the principal must hate my a$$ now but he should be used to it by now:lol
