"Can't you see that my heart is slavin' to be next to you"
"And can't you feel body's cravin' to be next to you"
"Soohhhhhhh don't come any closer ..or i'll just run away"
It's makin me insane ..I can't explain...why I feel this way"

oopsss i f***ed up a little :splat

Always wondered if Arabian Nights and Dont let me be misunderstood was "Freestyle" sounded more like rock band song with latin members... lol

Mandolay, just as good as the original by, "la flavour"

too many words unspoken, and promises unkept, and now my heart is broken, so many nights I've wept, made love in an oasis while the moon was up above, and the nights we spent in that mistic land is all i can think of!!!...guess what song I like...lol

I'm pissed about something here. When the album "there she goes" came out, it didnt have all the 12' mixes that the latin rascals had on their vinyls and it sounded more poppy than anything. I wish they wouldve released those mixes and extra tracks on their "there she goes" album. I bet the album would've done alot better then this way.

Well..........The Latin Rascals worked on this one...as edit masters......bet you cant recall .......For Me.....Its the best I have heard.....The Latin Rascals.... worked ....along with ..........Mixer/Remixer
Rae Serrano, Charlie Chase on this one:

AMORETTO - CLAVE ROCKS

TRACKLISTING...
Side A
Clave Rocks (Club vocal 7:37)

Side B
Clave Rocks (Radio edit 3:38)
Clave Rocks (Dub rocks 4:58)

NOTES ON THIS Amoretto RECORD... "Clave Rocks" by Amoretto was a super /disco/latin hip hop/freestyle era song that was all over New York at the time. A mixture of Latin and American dance music produced by Rae Serrano and Charlie Chase.

Many may have forgotten "Clave Rocks," but after one listen . . . BAM! "Oh my God, I remember this one." This song features the razor sharp edits of The Latin Rascals and was mastered by Disco veteran JosÈ Rodriguez.

Given my signature, it should be obvious.

Arabian Nights

Also "It Must Be You" is a close second.

By the way, I didnt' know the Latin Rascals did a version of Mandalay. Maybe I'm forgetting. I have the La Flavour CD with their version.

i like all their stuff including those hard to find or forgotten about paco remix tapes from the day it was all happening.....they are one of the reasons i became a dj..

omg! How could I have missed this thread!
