Mariah Carey did no justice to "I still believe" she mess it all up, lol, no one could do it like brenda....but u got urself a good little argument going on there. This debate could go on and on....there so many artists with slow and fast songs....'N sync, Backstreet Boys, Mariah, Brittany, the ones I mentioned in my earlier post...etc

I guess to most people a slow jam is catergorized by the artist who sings it,....<---(my opinion)

gotta agree wit u 100% @girlnextdoor, i guess thats what i was tryin to say. we do classify music by tha artist. anything by Cynthia to me will always be freestyle cuz thats what she is, thats her sound. it will be in her voice, tha beats, tha production no matter what. i'll always associate her wit freestyle. same wit TKA. but i agree wit u totally. execpt for tha Mariah thing! LOL! i thought she did a good job. but i think a higher voice sounds betta on that song. i favor Brenda's version as well!

BUT NOT ALL SONGS BY FREESTYLE ARTISTS ARE FREESTYLE.
SLOW SONGS PERFORMED BY FREESTYLE ARTISTS ARE NOT CONSIDERED FREESTYLE. BABY I BELEIVE IN YOU WAS ALSO SUNG BY NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK LOL. BUT I LOVE IT CUZ MY BABY GEORGE LAMOND SINGS IT SO WELL 🙂
