i think alot of the picks on here are for popularity. not all but alot. vocals people!!!!!!!!!!!! not songs or looks or popularity.

their has been alot of crappy singers as well in both era's. lets not go there. but to say that the old school has better vocals ??? no way!!!!!!!!! I listen to the old stuff now that i used to love. and i say to myself wow those vocals are just plain awfull. lol
 
Julissa can't be touched by any of the above listed, then right next to her is Isabel "My Love" (dma freestyle flava)
 
I say K7, George Lamond & Luis Damon and for the ladies Cynthia, Nyasia and Lil Suzy
 
Nobody has vocals like Stevie B, just look at the Post Man song #1 on the billboards, and one of the highest selling singles of all time no one can top that. After Stevie i would say George Lamond.
 
Ummm...I would have to say Lil Suzy, Sa-Fire and Jocelyn Enriquez...and also, I agree with you BensonhurstChick...a lot of freestyle fans think that of course the new school artists can't compare to the old school ones, I think that's true to some extent...they're legends...But the new school artists keep the freestyle alive...at least they're trying to get it back the way it used to be...In a way, it's harder for them because freestyle is not very famous nowadays...it's more of a pop/dance era so, yeah...I think we should give them props, too...

in the male category its george lamond..in a class of his own plenty of freestyle artist in general but then theres "george"..just like theres many pro basketball players then theres "mike" in the female sector naya...maybe im biased but then again besides judy, cynthia ,and safire most "divas" sound like they inhaled helium when singing in the freestyle world😛
 
here's a new artist who's voice doesn't sound anything near the 600% modification like so many other artists: kathy phillips. also lil suzy has a cool voice.
 
I would have to say as far as the fellas:
Coro, Pain, Johnny "O", Soave', Jason Tomi, Sebastian, Rhingo, Rocco, and of course the King of Freestyle George Lamond.
As far as the ladies: Jasmin, Monet, Nyasia, Safire, Paris by Air and of course Judy Torres.
As far as Groups: Nas-T- Boys, Visage, Nu-Image, and of course TKA!
