well I live in bklyn and Freestyle is really loved
Hey wassup
I just listened to Samantha Fox's song "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and it really sounds a lot like a freestyle song, My question is to all you freestylers out there what do you think it takes to really consider a song freestyle and do you consider the Samantha Fox song freestyle also there are songs like "Don't you want me" remix by Jody Watley and "Prisoner" by Mariah Carey that sound a lot like freestyle but haven't gotten the credit cause there not "Freestyle" artists. Oh and there is a song from Celine Dion called "I Feel Too Much" from her first album back in 1990. Oh well let me know if any of you guys have heard any of these tracks and what do you think of them?

😛 😉 😛

have u ever seen

have any of u guys ever seen this one movie from 1989 called Teen Witch? LOL. it got a bunch of freestyle sounding songs in it.LOL:heee

well if anyone else thinks that the song from Samantha Fox sounds freestyle let me know. What about that song from Larissa "I do both jay and jane" do you guys think that's freestyle? Also Suzy's song "When I fall In Love" doesn't really sound too freestyle too much either.😱

I think Larissa's song could be considered freestyle, the other song after that "Someone to hold" (something like that) had a freestyle like mix too. I guess you could consider "I do both jay and jane" as freestyle other than that tight azz beat, because it did have a love like theme, it's just that she enjoyed both sexes instead of just one.

In my opinion, Larissa and the samantha fox track are definitely freestyle. And the eurodance megahit by Lil Suzy "When I fall in Love" has a very cool freestyle mix available on a few compilations including the Planet Freestyle series on Odeon Records. The track is titled "Lil Suzy feat. Chris Phillips - "When I Fall In Love (Freestyle Club Mix)".

Daniel Bedingfield feat. Stella Browne - "Gotta Get Through This"

Although this song isn't technically freestyle, it has a very strong freestyle sound to it.

Well some people consider "Girlfriend" by Pebbles to be freestyle and it is on one of my freestyle compilations but I'm not sure, it does sound freestyle though. I also think the Larissa song is definately freestyle. I also think Angelina is freestyle with "I don't need your love" and "Release Me" and Lina Santiago with "Feels so good" and "Deep Inside of me":blah 🙄 😉

I Think Samantha Fox's "I wanna have Some Fun" was more "Early House/ Freestyle". Now her otha Jam "Naughty Girls" is DEFINITELY Freestyle!

Jody Watley's "Don't U Want Me" is Freestyle to me.
Back then, even if they weren't Freestyle artists, they still borrowed from the sounds.

That was "the sound" for the mid-late 80's.
Plus Mainstream artists would have Freestyle producers make some of their hits, or have them remixed, & they would turn out to be Freestyle, ...even if the artist wasn't.

Janet Jackson
Madonna
Pebbles
Dino
The Party
Dan Hartman
Nia Peeples
Pet Shop Boys
Whitney Houston
Debbie Gibson

...& Many more, were non-freestyle artists that have Freestyle produced songs or mixes that are considered Freestyle to many.

: )

yeah i agree company B you are so right about that. Oh and by the way thanks for the Seduction info last time i'm sorry i never got back. I got it on Ebay but I haven't received it yet. Well hopefully today it will come. Yeah I consider Don't you want the remix to definately be freestyle, it's a hot song. yeah samantha Fox's song Naughty is freestyle i consider I wanna have some fun one too though. Ok biiiiii.😛

Your right Kenny but if you listen to the song it has a "Freestyle" sound to it. Even though it's considered to be pop/r*b song it does in fact sound a lot like a freestyle record would back in that time. I know Babyface and LA Reid are your typicl freestyle producers but that her song "Girlfriend" and "Mercedes Boy" both have the elements to them. So do "Tell it to my heart" by taylor Dayne and "Don't you want me" by Jody Watley.:blah 😛

Spice up your Life by the Spice Girls. its got a freestyle beat to it😀 lol

yeah... kinda, lilshygirl.

Yo Felix, ur welcome bro!
Lemme know when u get it!
& The original long Club Version of "Tell It To My heart" is Freestyle Slammin'!
With all the breaks, cuts, "timbale" sounds, & latin horns, .... it's tight!
