😀 HiYa everyone & Happy New Year!! I was at the Boca New Years Eve show with Angel of The Cover Girls (Happy New Years bday girl!!), and NOEL. The show was off the hook!!
I didn't get to the club until around 11:30 pm, because I was helping the club get her a cake. We wanted to surprise her, and we sure did!! I did the writing on the cake because there was noone at the bakery left to do it, they had all gone home. And, I was in charge of the candles for the cake. I found these really cool champagne bottle candles, and since I was in a mischevious mood I also picked up some TRICK candles that were clearly labeled, TRICK candles lol. The cake was beautiful, with different colored flowers that looked like they had been spray painted.
When I first arrived at the club I spotted NOEL standing OUTSIDE of the VIP lounge. I seized that opportunity and strolled his way (well maybe alittle faster than strolling lol), I touched him on the arm, and I said, are you the guy I came to the club to see? Now keep in mind this poor guy has NO CLUE who I am lol, but he was so nice about it. He said yes, I'm NOEL. THEN, I told him that I was FreestyleMom from Clubfreestyle.com. He thought that was cool I guess cuz he took me into the VIP lounge! I felt like I was walking on air lol! We talked for a bit, and then the limo driver asked me if I wanted him to take a pic of us together, and I jumped at the opportunity!! Hell yeah!! I said hi to Angel, got my pic taken, took another pic of him solo, cute pose too, and then left them to get a good spot by the stage.
The Midnight celebration came and went, and I patiently waited. I was pushed, I was shoved, I dodged drinks, and lit cigarettes lol, but in the end it was ALL worth it.
First to hit the stage was our New Years Bday girl Angel of The Cover Girls!! She greeted us, and sang "Because Of You" as her first song. She was having so much fun pulling guys up on the stage with her. My buddy DJColdCrutch got pulled up there, and acouple other lucky guys. She got guys to sing, dance, they did whatever she wanted! She was joking around with the crowd, and she said that Boca's was becoming like her second home, she said she's ready to move here! I'd LOVE it if Angel moved to my town! We could hang out!!
The next song she sang was "Inside Outside", more guys on stage that she picked, like 5 of them lol. Her last song was "Show Me" and she usually brings the girls up onstage, but hey, it was her bday, this time, MORE GUYS!! She looked like she was having a blast! Her surprise cake was brought out to her, and with the trick candles ablazin we all sang Happy Bday to her! I had visions of the fire co. being called to extinguish those flames, and the club being evacuated lol, but all was ok. Thanks for a GREAT TIME ANGEL, it was FUN!!
NOEL, you're the man!! It was 1:11 am when he hit the stage!! He was dressed all in black! The first song he sang was "Like A Child" (I had that old cassette tape with me, thanks for signing it NOEL!!). He has an awesome voice! Strong vocals! Good music track backing him up. And that man can dance!! The second song he performed was "The Question" (Concept Of One). I love that song! He was on the stage by himself, but he didn't need any dancers with him. He did all the moves himself. He even told US to dance!! The crowd was enthusiastic, and lovin BOTH Angel & NOEL. The third song was greeted with loud cheers from the large crowd, "Silent Morning" (the words to that song have been running through my mind ALL DAY, I'm lucky I can even think to post lol)! He was awesome during that song!
He ended the show with his new song, " Will I Find True Love", which he introduced as a Trance song. He said times are changing and he wants to give the people what they want. I am NOT a fan of Trance, but the song had a good beat, & his vocals weren't drowned out by the beat thank God. He asked for the strobe lights to be on (wow I got dizzy lol) during that song, and he brought some of the crowd up onstage to dance with him. That was cool. He talked to us during his show, and let us know that tonight was fun for him, and that he heard our club was off the hook. Thanks NOEL, for a night I won't forget! You and Angel made my New Year special! I even got to hang out with them for awhile after the show!
