ALL WERE GOOD, BUT

Again, I feel Chris"in the mix" Sammarco, knows what he his doing, again the vibe between freestyle and house, whatever you want to call it, trance, techno, progressive, old school, breakbeats, and vocals, he knows what he is doing, and Hiram vocals go with the flow, cant anyone relate to that,,,,this is the way I think freestyle will break in clubs, .......which is where freestyle started,,
Kenny track was also hot, the first one, beats, and breaks.
Freestyle needs a new foundation, and I feel that everyone that did this project knows exactly what I am talkin about,,,,
I am a old school fan, but we need to move on, no planet rock beats, no old loop, come on....this is the way to go.....

I second that calling!!!! You're sooo right! I feel all the track were good but Chris Sammarco's track stands out and is definately looking ahead with it's Hybrid of Freestyle & Trance.

Chris Sammarcos trak was very good..as are all his trax...he is definatly in the Know about what will go good in the clubs.....
 
those were nice songs, but if you're looking for the future sound of freestyle, the KF feat Genevieve track is it! I didn't like the other KF track since it strayed too far from freestyle, the Genevieve song is what the future sound of freestyle should be if it is to work in the clubs, and it could very well work on dance radio with what radio is playing now.

Well, the throwdown is over and Nick Colon is the official winner so congrats to you Nick Colon and to everyone who participated. I can't wait for the next throwdown.

Thanks to everyone that sent me emails requesting our tracks and for voting on our tracks. Ironically, we've had more requests for our tracks than votes. Go figure. We have alot more tracks in the Lab some of which we will make available both online and off. So stay tuned.

I wish to express my appreciation to everyone who voted and took part in this contest.
I am truly flattered by the overwhelming response that everyone has shown me.
First of all i want to thank Jack g for giving us this awesome site where we can all just hang out and enjoy the music we all love.
and for giving us all the opportunity to showcass new music through the "Freestyle throw down" contest.
Next i want to thank all the fanz that support me and new freestyle and for all the love that you have shown me not only here but at club bliss also.
I have met alot of wonderful people here and i hope we keep freestyle alive 4 a long time.
I am excited and glad that everyone likes the song "Careless" and it will be featured on my new album entitled "Believe" on D.O.S records scheduled to be released in mid March 2002.

I've got one thing to say... There's MANY talented people from very different walks of life and expertise that read and post on this board. I think that if people put their minds and hearts together they can accomplish ANYTHING.

If you have a dream, go for it and don't let the short-sighted, negative people discourage you. Anybody that has ever accomplished anything worthwhile, has done so because they dared go that extra mile.

Also thanks to those who called last saturday night to WMCX.
