It was difficult trying to choose just one song, I truly enjoyed listening to them all, and I thank all the artists that participated in our "throwdown".

However, since a winner must be picked, I had to give my vote to "My Way" by Kandela. This track really grabbed me.

I hope you liked our tracks.I know they are not traditional old school so if you were expecting that from me tough titty!I will no longer make any freestyle music that follows the various played out formats.I dont knock those who choose to make those styles.In fact I truly enjoy old school more than new school.All of the songs in the contest are pretty cool.I especially like Nick Colons voice.
I am not really in this for the contest aspect of it.I just wanted to throw my crazy ass songs in it for the love of FREE+style.Take care and good luck to the rest of y`all.

Although I LOVE (read... LOOOOVE) the music that we describe when we say freestyle, I also think that if you want commercial credibility you can't be doing 1988-style tracks.

If there's any Clubfreestyle heads up in the Jersey Shore, next Saturday (9ish-after the Monmouth U basketball game) DJ Vinny's gonna try to play as many tracks from this contest as he can. Our jobs are to get them to him (via mail or e-mail). If you're NOT in the Jersey Shore, the show is also online on WMCX.COM. If you're interested, please e-mail me and I'll forward you his info.

I want to thank everyone who contributed songs, I really enjoyed listening to some new material. Great job! My favorite is Jazmine "Only You," not only is she so beautiful her voice is powerful! I can't wait for her album to be released!! Santana Twins in the house lol! I have to give it to Hiram, Nick & TOny G too! THis should be a regular event on cf.

You are correct, I did confuse Hiram's "MAKE YOU MINE" with Natural's "GIVE ME YOUR LOVE". I appologize because I have not heard the original version of "MAKE YOU MINE". I hope you did not take my comments on a personal level, I just feel that the remix you did for Hiram's songs sounds very similar in fashion to Amanté's "LET'S GET IT ON" and Christine Turner's "LOST IN LOVE" (combining House, Trance, Freestyle and Electro). They are all good songs, but I prefer the Old School sound. Chris you are a good producer whether it is Freestyle or House, good luck to you, bro.



THE FOLLOWING IS JUST MY COMMENTARY ON FREESTYLE IN GENERAL - IF YOU FEEL IT APPLIES TO YOU, THEN IT JUST MIGHT...

I know that many people will disagree with me and yell until they are hoarse that Freestyle needs to change and progress, I believe that evolution has hurt Freestyle and it is time for it to regress...Freestyle had a magical formula that worked very well during it's glory years. Almost every release from the year 1993 until this present day has gone without that formula. It is time that that artists and producers try to recapture what was once Freestyle instead of creating something new and try to tell us it is Freestyle...

I didn't take you comments personally. I prefer the old school also. I was never able to produce freestyle the way I wanted too (old school style), that's one reason I started doing house. Since I am a club D.J., I tend to focus on the latest trends. That's what I tried to do for Hiram. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.

The original release date was Jan 29th, but the label is not releasing it for another 2 weeks.This single will be off the Full lenght NU IMAGE album which will be released in June.We are pleased to announced that we are under a new management team,
so this delayed our original release date on the new single.As for the mixes there are 8 mixes on the new single we want to give everyone a little something.Thanks to all who continue to support our music...........NUI 02..........

First let me say that this has been sooo enjoyable and so fun what JackG has done here for the freestyle community. You are without the doubt DA-MAN!!!!! Period.

I want to give thanks to all the freestyle artists who took their time to participate in this awesome bash competition! We have to give you credit for coming out into the open and compete with one another. All in fun of course but thanks for having the great hearts for us to hear more freestyle music that is evolving in this world.

It was a very very hard choice for me to make, and unfortunately, I wont mentioned who I voted for. But the song really is freakin catchy LOL! And of course I must have it on CD!

I would also like to say to mario5starr you are awesome! You just made that song for the bash and you went all out! LOL I cant imagine when you really want to put a song out there for the world on CD bro! And also nice seeing how you look like my bugged out chat partner on Sunday nights!

Honorable mentions go to Kennyfreestyle for making a song that signifies drop your pants and panties and FFFFF whats around you. LOL

The one with Geneive is awesome too!

Ahhh Nick Colon...WOW!!! Reminded me of N.V which is all good and a bad of chips!!!

A little change of plans on the voting.
Originally I said I would promote the winner on
this site.

Things seem a little quirky with the current
voting system. Votes popping very quickly, very strange.

I will still be promoting the winner of course
but it wont be 'so easy.'

There will be a phase II in voting using
our fool proof forum voting system.

We will narrow down the winners and have a second
vote. this will also extend the promotion time for
