Is there a part of a song that sticks out?

What I mean is that when you hear the song, there is this one part that is your favorite and you blast the stereo right when it's about the hit.

For example-

on the newest version of TKA-Tears May Fall, at the end when they're singing "tear drops may fall from your eyes" and it's overlapping.

or on Concept of One-Dance With Me where at the end when Tony Moran is singing "ba ba ba da ba, ba ba ba da ba, ba ba ba da ba ba"

i love ..tka and tony morans "is it love?" right on the part where k7 is sayin what are you trippin??? (its all in your mind...you think that im crazy?) great song and the same on "more then words can say" by george lammond ..when k7 comes in with safire (ive these feelins inside that i cant explain...its right here in my heart and im feelin the pain..i try to hold myself against it i try to explain but i lose all hope and i hesitate...more then any words can say.....) that song is so slammin i cant believe ive never heard it on the radio

a part that sticks out most in my mind that i really like is in "Change On Me" when the vocoder kicks in (in the intro and in the middle)! LOL! i luv those parts! same with "No Reason To Cry".

also luv "Where Are You Tonight" in the intro & middle when the track switches from house to freestyle.

it's no vocoder, it's just a sample of the voice they are playing on the keyboard.

i know somone is not debating with me over a Cynthia song! LOL!

yeah its a sample of her voice. but it is a vocoder. her voice is not that high! vocoder just takes a lyric (i.e. "my") speeds or slows the voice down and is used as a kinda instrument over & over in a rhythmic pattern.

they're just playing the sample of her voice on the high notes on the keyboard, that makes it so high. my friend can do it on his ESP Ensoniq (It's a sampler and keyboard). It sounds the same, and he does not have a vocoder.

How come there aren't any new freestyle songs that use that Vocoder that Mark is talking about. Is it too old school? Cause I think they should do that again in some new songs. It's really phat and I thinkit would be a good way of bringing the old to the new, if ya know what I mean..

I know this is mix specific, but the Cameron Paul version of "dreamin of love" has this part when Stevie B is singing "I I I I I I dreamin of" and then it gets a little more funky. That part makes the hair stand up, especially hearing it at a club.

Rockell used it in the intro for "In A Dream". i thought that was really kewl too because you're right, not many people use the vocoder sounds anymore. that was one of the things i liked most about freestyle too! especially in any old school micmac track, a good vocoder break was always guaranteed!😛
