ummm as I told ya...it's not a vocoder...
if you heard "When I Hear Music" or "Look Out Weekend" by Debbie Deb, in that song Pretty Tony uses a vocoder. "Rock, Rock The Planet Rock, Don't Stop" is the chorus in Planet Rock, that's a vocoder. You change the voice using a talkbox, so it sounds like a robot.
Also any song by Zapp. but once again in the Cynthia songs or Judy Torres, it's just a sample of the voice played in high tones. I know this, cause me plus alot of my friends produce music. we don't have a vocoder, still we can make those sounds, just using a sample and the keyboard.

Anyway, I love the part in Latin Tech - My Broken Heart, where the music stops and he's singing "I love ya"

well, I still think that that sampling of the voice should be used more often in newer freestyle. By the way... "How I Love Him' by Cynthia feat. k7, is it me or was that song not as big as it should have been? I know it was released back in 95 or something but it was a difficult time for freestyle. I would love it if it was re-released. but oh well.

luv the way "Victim Of Love" starts out. that whole bass beat intro, that was baaaaaad!!!

There are sooo many ....I like the part in "Endless Night" when Cynthia goes..."I need you, I need you to love me too, oh be mine, and I will love you for all timeeee."

I also luv the way "What Am I To Do" (Nayobe) starts out!

"yo Kendu, kick dat $hyt!!!" LOL, then that bangin breakbeat starts up...yo that was so ghetto!!! off the chain!!!

also any part of a Lisette track when she's just talking (in that sexyazz voice) is hot too! 😛
 
the beginning after shooting star sound and the middle music breaks and cuts in Endless Nights(the 8 minute long one on "Cynthia") by Cynthia. that rules! it was so fun to skate too! 🙂 lol
 
Endless Nights by Cynthia. the beginning after shooting star sound, how it starts up slow then, speeds up and the middle music breaks, those slasher sounds,the little keyboard parts and cuts. and the "I ALWAYS LOVED U SO, WAS AFRAID TO LET YOU KNOW..."then it slows down and ends. In the 8 minute long one on "Cynthia" I really dont like the shorter verison they cut out a lot of that, I like it long. That song rules! it was so fun to skate too! 🙂 lol
