You do have a point about artists who committed to the show in the bronx who backed out to do latino mix but I remember that many New School acts who were cut out of the first latino mix show. Who will take responsibilty for that?

ALL I KNOW IS THAT AFTER TODAY I WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTING THAT STATION AT ALL..THEY HAVE NOT BEEN SHOUTING OUT CLUBFREESTYLE SINCE A CERTAIN THREAD WAS REMOVED FROM THE SITE..SEVERAL PEEPS FROM THIS SITE HAVE BEEN MONITORING THE STATION,AND THE ONLY SHOUTOUT WE HAVE GOTTEN WAS FROM "FREESTYLE PETE" WHEN HE WAS LISTENER OF THE MONTH..AND TO THOSE ARTIST WHO DO NOT SHOW UP TO SAL B'S CONCERT, WILL ABSOLUTELY HAVE NONE OF MY SUPPORT OR NOR WILL I BE PLAYING OR PROMOTING THERE MUSIC..EASY AS THAT..AND GOD FOR BID THAT I HEAR WHINNING IN DA THREADS!!!!!.."GRIMEY"..THE BULLSH!T POLITICS HURT NO ONE BUT THE ARTISTS AND FANS. :forkyou :nono :lame...

The artists that were cut out of the first latinomix show are the ones they are having perform for them now. As far as who should take the blame? not sure as I am not aware of the problems behind closed doors.

NOw I am friends with both parties involved here so this is really difficult to speak on. I did commit myself to hosting the "NU SCHOOL" show for SAL B so I will be there. having two shows in the same night isn't a new thing, when freestyle was in it's glory fans had to decide from five or six different show to go to in the same night!..lol

in a perfect world the shows would be at different times so that many could go too both, but this isn't a perfect world..and if a person was to be judged by thier word...then right now words don't mean shit from what I see...

I was speaking with someone last night and my words to them were this...

If it were me...I'd stick with who I committed to first cuz if I didn't...then MY integrity would be on the line.

The artists have to do what they feel is best for them but my advice is to think carefully about this. 🙁 What Latino mix is doing...not cool. As for them having the show planned way in advance...then why wait until yesterday to contact the artists that are on Sal's list? Things that make you go hmmm.

One other thing...when I was emailing and PM'n artists for this show...one conspicuously did not return my email when I asked how talks went with Sal. A few days later I get an email saying that they did not want to committ because it MIGHT conflict with another show...FUNNY! They have no conflicts now though right? Again...things that make you go hmmm.

Grey, If you think that LatinoMix is going to pay the nuschool artists to perform that night then I'm going to be there to see them get paid. Shit aint happening !! It was pathetic to see Carl; George Lamonds Manager running around that night of the last concert waiting to get paid from Vito and company. Sal B's show comes first. Aside from Diamond playin nuschool during lunchtime Latinomix aint gonna play a aka Nu Image record 2 o'clock in the afternoon during the week.
I commend Sal B for his efforts and total dedication in putting the Nuschool concert together. He's an old school N*gga like me that cares about people and the freestyle community. Even though I have branched off to the Television Commercial market of this business I still love freestyle and always will. A N*gga gotta eat and support his family. Mines just happens to like to eat Filet Mingon. Hollllllaaaaaa😀
 
I have decided I am not going to either im disgusted with the whole thing, its ridiculous fans shouldnt have to choose they are the ones supporting the artist I rather stay home and watch a good movie sorry ladies but count me out of this one sounds to me liek a great weekend to fly out to Miami for me. Enjoy yourselves to all who do attend 🙂
 
thats bullshit guys wake up and face reality no way can two freestyle shows on the same night can make a profit. Even in its hey day freestyle couldnt have two major events on one day. Nyasia I will be at the wild palms supporting freestyle. Guys remember they couldnt even sell more then half of the club at the first concert.
 
In addition you people got to remember in Freestyles highest point Hot 97 only had a number 2 rating. There was a group that was repeatedly asked to do this new school show but to my knowledge just ignored the requests. I was told by The "latino mix" people that they had no idea about this Nu school concert but this group is the main part of the 36o part of the show so to say they had no clue about the concert is absurbed cause 2/3 of the 360 tour New about it. I think yesterday might have been the darkest day ever in freestyle that is even including the day HOt 97 changed formats.
