My friend has a "Dj's Only" record that has a few songs, but with no artist information.
Song who's artist I'm searchin for is called "One Day"
It is probably from the mid to late 80s.
It's sung by a woman.
It's a classic dance song.
Here is the main chorus of the song:
"One Day when you think of me boy,
you'll remember a little child you loved,
asking for more and not so more"
Then it would go on to a part with some guy singing:
Baba Baba Body Body,
Baba Baba Body Body.

Someone please help

I have this song, does anyone know a way I can get it up online so that someone might be able to listen to it and tell me who sings it and if it is available on any cd? :sadsmile

How I do: ripp the cassete o LP using double male cable from audio set to pc input audio. Using MusictMatch Jukebox record function, save the song in mp3 format. If you have on cd format ripp it on 128 with Easy CD-DA Extractor www.poikosoft.com
Both ways you should ripp a clip only for less file size.
In www.gratisweb.com you can upload for free hosting, or using another free hosting homepage you know.

What is the name of the Lp

Can you tell us what is the name of the lp and who made it. I am very interested in that lp. Thanks.

"One Day" song

OK, I was able to upload the file into mp3 format in case anyone had trouble with the zip format. Just right click it and choose "save as" and downloade it somewhere on your computer and listen to it. It's low quality and I wasn't able to cut it up to have it as just a sample. Any help would be greatly appreciated...although I'm starting to lose hope.

Still hopping

Maybe someone can recognize the voice of this song and I could look in the right direction or if I could have the name of the lp it came from it would be great. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ralo1a

Just Janet as I found out

When I get the LP I will let you guys know, as far as I know its just Janet and I think that is the only record she made. I have to say I was looking for that song for about six years and I had almost given up. But I do know that everything comes with time and patience. Know I am looking for a record by ORGANIZED CRIME, titled NOW IS OUR TURN, it is an old Electro or miami bass LP, Any ideas where to look or if there are Electro forums out there as good as this Freestyle forum.

Damm... FREESTYLE music can be so unfair sometimes because if you don't live in a certain area of these US states, your funk (keeping it clean) because the damm songs don't hit your area until years later. To make matters worse, some songs don't hit your area ever and the you wind up playing this silly game of SONG HELP.

Sorry everyone, I'm just getting frustrate reading some of these THREADs and seeing the songs that never made it to my area. He he he!

There is a great record website online called musicstack.com or you could try an awesome ebay seller called 12inchdisco. He has a bunch of freestyle 12". I've bought quite a bit from him and I am very happy with my records. Hope this helps. Antonio
