I just wanted to know if you had any ideas on a Freestyle act to bring to Toronto this summer to perform inside Palazzo? Please try to be original and give us a good idea who the people would like to see. We are currently thinking of Rockell.

Stevie B is not the only freestyle artist out there,
Canadian fans will only support artist like Stevie B,
Lil Suzy,Rockell and local artist. What kind of support do you think artist like George Lamond,Cynthia,Sammy C,TKA,and
Pure Pleazure will get?

I am all for the 19+ age limit for the show. As for the performers...Everybody has great choices. I would like to see a mix of old and new school freestyle, as long as there is deep thumping heart-stopping bass.

P.S. You have three guesses where you will find me at a freestyle show...

Since Science is making a scene with their song Masquerade, it would be nice to invite them

I'd also love to see artists like Jossette, Free System, Dario, Wendy, Joelle, Tamara, Elissa, Lil' Suzy, Rockell (for sure). Some of these artists made some of the most played songs any gino listens to! Like Dario - Run To Me. Or Jossette - In A Dream (the original version). And free system is HUGE in toronto now.

Free System is a great choice but they are from Germany and it would be expensive to get them here.
Science is good too but only have one good song that I know of.
Cynthia would be a great choice and I do beleive if you put her together with Rockell you would have one hell of a show.

The one problem is that would enought over 19 crowd come out to see the show on an off night?
I'm sure that if we made it an all ages with the top floor licenced the place would be packed.

Licenced or not.... the only way you would get me at an all ages if I was taking my little brothers (the little guidos that they are!!)

And what nioght are you thinking of? Thursday night? or Saturday night? In the summer or during March break?

Con, upstairs isn't all that big, and when people want to dance they'll want to be on the dance floor. Not for anything, but the idea of paying cover to get in and then being hit on by some 15 year old...I don't think so.
You could try no cover for 19+, or reduced cover, but think about it...upstairs wouldn't hold everybody.
From experience , I know, if you overpack a place people will get pissed off and not have that great of a time, and the memory will stick. Next time you do an event, those people will remember and say "Remember what happened last time....?" and they won't go. I saw that happen to one person and it finished their promotions business. No credibility. SO be careful.

ya cynthia and rockell together!! that would be really cool!! as for making it all ages..... hmmm i dont know dj con. i know that me and my freinds wouldn't go if it is all ages, like jade said, going to a club and seeing so many 12 year olds... don't think so. the upstairs at palazzo isn't very big and wouldn't hold many people, besides people want to dance and its hard to do that upstairs and no one would like to dance beside a 15 yr. old.
u might have a point about not enough 19 over people showing up, but u never know, there are many freestyle fans out there in toronto.
what night are u thinking of making it?? hopefully a thurs. fri. or sat.
anyways try not to make it all ages because you won't see me or any of my people there.

People, I would love to make it strictly an over 19 affair!
The problem is that it would have to be on a Thursday and could we really fill up a club like Palazzo even if we did get Rockell and Cynthia?

That is the problem here and I would love to get these Freestyle Divas to perform in Toronto!
