TLC had way better songs...but yeah "waterfalls" turned it around for them completly
 
Waterfalls is ranked high because that's one of their only songs you'll hear on Hot AC radio. These songs are ranked due to the amount of Top 40, Hot AC airplay they got.
 
Exactly that song is a popular top 40 song...I dont think of it as an rnb song but as a pop song...and it was popular and got them recognized outside the rnb world and thats y its up there...plus the video was kool 🙂
 
The same with Guns and Roses with Sweet O Child of mine being #3 instead of Welcome To The Jungle. More Top 40 stations was playing Sweet O Child of Mine. They thought Welcome To The Jungle was a little too heavy.
 
I think that happens to a lot of artists they have a song thats more top 40ish/poppish and that song is considered to be the better song...in my opinion same thing happened with Nirvana cuz they have way better songs then the song chosen
 
Nicely put MIKE!!!!!!!!! Lol same thing happens with freestyle certain songs by certain artists are considered to be the best when in reality the artist has way way way better songs...the ones that make it on the radio get noted as the best...the best stuff is wut they dont play on the radio 🙂
