holy shit - dudes cryin' over freestyle tunes? whadda ya all wearin' - freakin' dresses??? :sosad

just bustin' your coglioni, don't hate me ... music is a very powerful force and has an amazing effect on people ... I can't recall crying over freestyle tunes - usually they pump me up, no matter what they're singing about (usually heartache!!) ... but there are some songs that get me, like:

Nessun' Dorma - Luciano Pavarotti

or

Con Te Partiro' - Andrea Bocelli
 
Most of us Relate Freestyle with a certain period in our lives, in wich Some of us wouldn't mind reliving and other not so good times, so it's just natural that we get emotionally attached to a song. were only Human. :biggrin

I've shed a few tears when listening to Emotional Pain - Zavier and You're Leavin' Me Again - Jamie especially way back when my X had just broken up with me and I kept tryin to get her back, but to no avail.....but it must have happened for a reason because now I'm with my Child Hood Sweet Heart and we've been married for over 8 years now, and it's heavenly bliss, so God must have known that my other relationship wasn't going any where. 😉
I also get emotional when going to a Freestyle show and seeing the artist perform live and getting to meet/greet after a show. It's a Happy/Excited Emotional though. 🙂

I never got teary eyed over any freestyle songs, but there have been some songs that get to me.

"To Where You Are" by Josh Groban

Most recently,

"Dance With My Father" by Luthor Vandross. I heard this one the other day, and really listened to the lyrics, oh my God. I started bawling in the car!
 
I agree with Sietz, I listen to freestyle with mixed emotions cause it always reminds me of memories in my life from when I was younger, and like he said carefree. Guess you can say they are bittersweet memories cause they make me wish I could go back in time.
Whenever I am asked about my "obsession" with freestyle I always say the samething, it brings me back in time,when life was simpler, it brings me back to the best time in my life.
 
I to get emotional sometimes when i hear certian freestyle songs.Its something about them that just hit a nerve( a sad nerve), I have never cryed but I have gotten chocked up pretty bad.

I first heard the record..wow..play.."EXPLOSE TO LOVE"-EXPOSE OR "I'LL BE ALL U EVER NEED"-TRINERE,"ALL CRIED OUT"-LISA LISA AND WATCH ME GET ALL MUSHY BUT I'LL DANCE IN PLACE TO PLAY IT OFF..LOL.. :dlook :sosad :heee
