Its pretty exciting to read all of the responses.I didnt think that people would respond as they did.I appreciate being able to read honesty.I bet the song would sound good without the talking voice and if it had a phat freestyle-type beat that morphed into a house sound.For all that are wondering about a freestyle sound for the new millenium.....................hmmmm

TONI, this new sound is exactly what TKA is trying to do. they tried FREESTYLE but thanks to people like you, they wont even go near it again.its time for a new swing. so, just thank yourselves for being so harsh on TKA. all they did is do something new. they saw your reactions from the last freestyle song so they went back into the studios and gave us something CURRENT.
did people hate KAYEL for going solo and releasing tons of hits off his K7 album? NO. they liked it very much and greeted it with open arms. do you know what? IT WASNT EVEN FRIGGIN FREESTYLE!!! and ya'alll still liked it, RIGHT?
 
I love TKA, dont get me wrong, but I dont like the new song. Maybe Im stuck on vintage TKA or used to what they used to sing as opposed to what the are singing now.. I think they took to much of a leave of absence from the scene that they are a little rusty. Maybe when they get the motor started it will all come back. But again, that new song, I cant get into it. Give me Maria again.. Maybe they need to listen to those songs again to remember where they have been so they can know where they are going..

people like me kenny??? no dont get it twisted...kayel denies even doing old school freestyle...he is a trader...he is out for the almighty buck...as is anyone...but i will not defend him for that reason...now this is not the new sound of freestlye it is tka doing new music...they told us from the freestyle nation board that they werent going to do freestyle...so dont blame me...it wasnt my negitive comments its what they wanted to do...they dont want freestyle but they want the freestyle fans...they want us to buy the cd...and if it is a good cd freestyle or not i will buy it...but i will NOT BUY IT JUST BECAUSE IT SAYS TKA ON IT!!!!

and if it is anything like that song i will NOT BUY IT!!!

i never even really commented on the first release...i commented on them not doing freestyle all together but never really on the first release...i only heard it once on D's show!!!! so dont say it was our negitive comments...and if they are so proud and confident in what they do then why would they care what a little freestyle fan in newark nj says????....i doubt my comments or rhoqs comments caused them to change thier directions so please dont even come with that!!!! and like u have said previously not ALL freesytle fans are on this site...most of them dont even own a computer...just like ur good friend...right?????

The problem here is that WE are FREESTYLE FANS, wayyyyyyyyy before were TKA fans!!

Freestyle well continue to have fans, with, or without TKA.

its kool, I'm not a Big Freestyle fan myself, but TKA is just asking for something that is wrong in my point of view!

If They want The Freestyle fans to BUY, they better give the FREESTYLE fans something worth the 17.98, something they will want to pull out money on.


On, I Think that there best song from there so-called COME BACK is "You Don't Feel It", but don't ask the people on this board if there gonna go and buy it, cuzz they already got the other version of it in there minds, yep Enrique Iglesias

u know....i bet if it wasnt a TKA song..that alot of the house fans would have liked the song alot...
DONT FORGET....we're comparing this to TEARS MY FALL/SCARS OF LOVE/MARIA...which is WAYYYY different..hey so what?? maybe this is one of those "Crash/have some fun" songs??? remember that one? after reading all the posts it DOES sound alot like modjo..but hey thats the new thing now...the whole disco house feel..TKA isnt gonna break into the 2001 scene w/ 1988 music..then there would be a real problem. i really wanted to see TKA take on a housey..rich luzzie/digital allies kinda thing. remember the guiseppe D remixes of cynthia and george lamond?? (lately/i never said) those were HOTTTTTT. or the house mix of angel by collage. thats the path i thought TKA would have headed in. the market is dyin for some deep lyric vocal house songs (LOOK @ DIGITAL ALLIES POPULARITY) tka def got the vocals and we know they've had 'deep depressin lyrics' in the past. they could have done some hott house mixes of 'when will i see you again' i wonder what happend with that?? a nice calderone/ or jonathan peters remix woulda been nice. if rockell/robbins can afford it im sure tommy boy can.(is TKA still on tommyboy) if they are tommy boy got alotta thunderpuss remixes on there....they should hook it up.

at least people were honest with their replies to the song..i remember back on the old freestyle nation board people would claim they loved some of the new school freestyle when they know it SUCKED. at least tka can get some honest feedback to it. whattaya expect throwin a house/club song.. with barely any lyrics... from the greatest freestyle group to a bunch of die hard freestyle fans???(lots whom ONLY listen to freestyle). thats worse than throwin a puffy remix of billy ray cyrus to a country music board!! tka should preview this to some house boards/record pools and see the response. ya cant ask a kosher person to tell you if the bacons cooked right!!
 
Delicious,D.....the reason why i say that is because i just had 2 friends over (and they dont own computers, one is 29 and the other 31) and they took a listen to the song. my friend, whom was a big freestyle fan, and whos uncle was in the R&B group "SKYY" (i say that so he may qualify as a judge) and he liked it......not a whole lot, but he says "at least it sounds modern". his wife had a better respsonse to it. "as long as i can dance to it and it sounds good, i will like it."
they too, also know the "freestyle sound" is outdated and a new turn is for the best.
 
Toni, are you going to crucify Kayel for a comment he made almost a decade ago? Kayel was looking at his current projects, not looking back at the past. in life, we move ahead, not backwards. remember that.

whats very strange is that when i ask the average person about TKA, they dont know them.
but when i ask them about K7, they DO know him.

why? K7's camp had a better way to get his sound to the masses and it was more appealing to the average person.

I am a huge freestyle lover, probally the biggest on here. but, i do also support TKA and every decision they make with their carreers. I have enjoyed thier music for half my life and i will continue to enjoy it for many years to come. I just wish people can see them at a different perspective.
 
to those of you that missed what i had said previously:

artists and groups do evolve from one type of genre to the next. beastie boys, punk to rap. aerosmith, rock to pop. michael jackson. disco to pop, TKA, freestyle to POP. it happens, people. live with it. all these groups moved on, realizing they were going to be stereotyped if they remained in what they were best known for if they didnt go out and explore and try new sounds. we are the fans. we should stand by them 100%.
 
I liked "When Will I see You Again" even in its First sample format which was the more Sonique like sound (WHICH IS THE NEW SOUND) I also Like the "Play at your Own Risk" Version. I was waiting for the single and album.

I dont like the new song cause Im not into house music, thats just me, I did not expect TKA to come out with an album with FREESTYLE only, I expected some house and R&B slow jams in there too.

I will only get the Freestyle or Breakbeat styled songs. or if the song has a remix in one of those versions.

I didnt like "Crash" I didnt buy it either, dosent mean I dont like TKA. I rode my bike 30 miles to see them in concert in Orlando when they got back together.

My opinion is that this is not good for a comeback song. Its a bonus track B side album track

Need something NEW, HARD, ENERGETIC and FRESH. I know you have one of those songs in there right Now. Release That one
 
K7 MUSICA WAS STILL CLOSER TO FREESTYLE THEN THIS IS, K7 WAS IN ITS OWN CATAGORY, BUT HAD ALMOST THE SAME BPM AS FREESTYLE. THEY EVEN PLAY BODY ROCK SOMETIMES ON SUNDAYS FREESTYLE 9-12 BECAUSE IT CAN RELATE. IF IT WAS A REGGAE JAMMY OR LIKE A SLOW JAM I DONT THINK THEYD PLAY IT IF IT DIDNT HAVE A HINT OF FREESTYLE FLAVOR IN IT. THATS WHY FREESTYLE FANS LIKED K7. BUT THIS SONG IS NOT RELATED TO FREESTYLE IN ANY WAY, THEREFORE PEOPLE DONT LIKE IT - WHO CARES.

K7's material was straight up HIP-HOP, not freestyle. one song (BODY ROCK) on that album was freestyle. Of couse your gonna hear it on the freestyle mix. WHY NOT? Its FREESTYLE. BUT you may not hear his hip-hop classics on Johnny's mixes. that whole album is classic, and it helped recognize K7 as a pioneering artist.

TKA came to us, thier fans, to get some feedback. we, as the fans, must understand why they did this. when was the last time you actually heard a great cd by a legendary freestyle artist/group? its been a long time.

I Qouted You Kenny Cause You Said They Came To Us For Feedback And They Got It, You Cant Jump Down Peoples Thoart Just Cause It Just Happens That People Dont Like That Song.. Its ONE Song... The Rest Of The Songs On Their Album Probally Sound Better.. Plus You Know Whats Gonna Happen If You Bring That On A FREESTYLE Site.. Dont Act Blind And See It Comin... I Respected Everyones Opinion Which Includes Yours, So Respect Mines....

TKA, Can Do WHATEVER They Want To Do, I Respect Any Music Artist, They Can Express Themselves Anyway They Like, But It Is Good To Listen To Your Fans There Gonna Tell You The Whole Truth And Nothin BUT The TRUTH.. But Please Do Respect Peoples Opinion......
