SPEAK INTERNLCHI SPEAK. LIKE HE SAID ITS ONLY A SONG. TKA COMES OUT WITH SOMETHING NEW AND YOU COMPLAIN AS I SAID BEFORE BE HAPPY OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE BACK.
 
Well I didn't get to hear it yet!

Hopefully they'll sing it at the show I'm going to in afew weeks then I'll let you know what I think!
 
IT'S REALLY GREAT TO HEAR FROM TKA AGAIN. IT'S GONNA TAKE A WHILE TO GET USED TO THIS SONG. REMEMBER WHEN YOU WOULD HEAR AN AWESOME SONG ON THE RADIO FOR A WHILE NEVER FIND OUT WHO IT WAS FOR A LIL WHILE THEN YOU'D FIND OUT IT WAS TKA. THOSE WERE THE GOOD OL DAYS.

I finally got a chance to hear this track...First of all, i don't like it...and second of all, it's not Freestyle so it doesn't belong on this site. Note that the fact that it isn't Freestyle has nothing to do with me not liking the song, because i like a lot of kinds of music that are not Freestyle, especially dance music. But even if i liked the song, it still wouldn't belong on this site, simply because it is just not Freestyle... I hope TKA comes back with a better song than this cause this particular track reminds me of another song that i never liked..."Crash".
 
last night, i gave a friend of mine the oppurntunity to listen to the TKA tracks "when will i see you" and "feel the music". now, let me give you a brief background on him. he is not a HUGE freestyle fan. he is a DJ. has been for the past 20 years. he owns tons of freestyle 12"s and he does know the music. he liked "when will i see you" and he said it had a great "old school feeling" and he can hear where they are coming from. he liked the second single even better. he said "its modern and its got a great feeling to it and i still know its TKA". He also added "it sounds like it belongs on WLIR (a station in NY that plays alot of todays hot progressive tracks), thats the station i enjoy listening to".
 
I agree with both Razcal and Arturo.
As Razcal said, you don't see George LaMond come to this site to promote his new Salsatracks. The same should go for TKA I think, as long as it's not Freestyle keep it off this site.

Alex, TKA is NOT coming here to promote either. TY BLESS is thier manager and he is giving us a TASTE of thier new style. Im sure if George was outta of the scene for a while, he (or his management) would do the same. why do you think their new style is NOT new freestyle?
can any of you define the new sound of freestyle? NO? then, why knock them for going in a different route? why am i talking in circles here? we are always discussing the the same thing over and over again. Am i one of the few that see the light and know what TY and TKA are doing?
 
i have to say arturo i do agree with u...and kenny i dont care how u twist it and turn it...this is in no way the new sound of freestyle...i will give u when will i see u again but feel the music is in no way shape or form freestyle!!! we might not have the so called new sound of freestyle down to a meaning...but that is not it...thats like saying que te vas is freestyle cause a freestyle singer sung it...and by the way there was a bb(freestyle nation) up that george lamond was a member of and he didnt try to sell or "promote" his non freestyle things over there!

and u see ur light, but i doubt that they are doing it for the cause of freestyle...k7 came on here and said it himself...so sorry u can say whatever but his words are stronger then ur excuses!!!
 
TONI, i have seen many other artists come up in here and sell thier material. are you going to trash them also?

TY and TKA did not come here to promote. they offered us some clips to take a ponder on. they did not advertise until people began asking "when is the album release" and "how many songs will there be"?TY simply responded. he did NOT advertise it. theres a BIG difference.

I myself spoke exclusively with TY and TKA and i did come back and tell all the fans that thier album would be TOP 40 rather than all freestyle. TY came in and reassured my statment. Many artists want to continue to make music, regardless it is freestyle, country or metal. you have to respect any artist that goes back into this music field and you know they are giving you thier 110%.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE NEW SOUND IS, TONI?

Noel said himself a few months back "this is the new sound we may have been looking for" right before he gave us a sample of his new track.

I know you werent there but Noels song had the similiar vibe to TKA'S.
 
LOL. This kinda reminds me of the dog who went after the cat and the cat going after the mices and the birds. Theres just no ending.

Here are some points. TKA's first release, "feel the music" is may not be freestyle, but freestyle is dance music and thats what "feel the music" is as well. They both fit into the same category. Salsa is totally different than Dance music. George would look stupid for even to consider promoting his salsa joints on this site wouldnt you think? freestyle's all about dance, one way or the other.
 
I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO CATEGORIZE THE NEW TKA SONG, MY FEELINGS ARE MIXED I DEFINETLY LIKED WHEN WILL I SEE YOU MUCHHHHHHHH BETTER. NOT FOR NOTHING THIS SONGS VOCALS DON'T EVEN SOUND LIKE TKA AT ALL. I MEAN IF I WAS LISTENING TO THE SONG NOT KNOWING IT WAS TKA I'D BE LIKE WHO THE HELL IS THIS?????????? NEVER WOULD EXPECT TO HEAR THAT IT WAS TKA.::
 
LMAO, this is so funny! Its funny how they first put out the song for us to listen to on this site and how all of a sudden they had to take it down immediately because of all the bad raps that were going on about it. They didnt want to piss anyone else off. LOL! "relax it was only a song. ok ok ill take it down" :::tomatos flying::: I'm sorry tka but this is funny. Hopefully though, when the real version comes out the people will see your special talents again. I have confidence in it.
 
kenny i guess u forgot when k7 came up inhere and talked...then when jack closed the thread...and i know u were around when k7 came on the freestyle nation...so please dont tell me what u heard cause i know what i saw...

anyway i coudnt tell u what the new sound of freestyle is but i can tell u what its not...its not can u feel the music...if it was, then straight up thats when i lose freestyle...if u are going to take a good genre of music and turn it into that kind of a sound then thats where i lose my memberships to the freestyle clubs, and thats where i take down my site!!!!

any way thats the point...lamond would look like a fool marketing salsa in here, as does the marketing of can u feel the music looks to most people that do not have rose colored glasses on
