What do the following 3 have in common?

1. Freestyle
2. Disco
3. Hair Bands

.... I rest my case....Move On
if freestlye is so out of style why are you always looking to sell/buy on this site? when was the last time you sold a bee gees of donna summers album? a true fan of the music would never compare it to disco and hair bands. you just dissed the entire freestlye community with this comment. perhaps the next time cynthia or judy torres perform they should wear their leg warmers.

Hi Melissa ,

Yeah I just got Your Pm and replied but Your PM box is full..I understand your views. I dont think any of us support wack freestyle. I appologize if i offended you. Thank You for supporting New School. Quality New School**I hope My Music Meets your standerds.

I think some of us do and dont know it lol.I mean just because you find a song that you dont like and say that you dont like it (keep it real) dont mean ur hatin just means you dont like it...Not about standards or anything else,,Again Freestyle cant be like it was..You can still go for your dreams no one can tell you different but the topic was about feedback. So I just gave mine..

Caleb No problem you did not offend me just miscommunication.. :vamp lol

Enigma....Thanx For keeping it real bro!! Its people like you who keep freestyle alive.

Hey Caleb-B no problem. I admire the fact that you took time and dedication to sing freestyle to many heads out here in the world. That to me deserves alot of attention and recognition. I can see that you have a very strong passion...and you not looking at all the little dark clouds that try to stop you in your path...thats why I give you mad respect! Because all new school artists need to be that way if you want to be heard and make it out there.

What you previously said...that if your album drops and it does not do well...what counts was that you showed dedication...and most of all...you showed love.

Thats why I support you and many others. :cheers

Im done my rest in this thread lol Im not one to usually get into deep freestyle converstations because I see many things differently than many lol

Hasta la vista...baby! -Arnold

As for some freestyle fans downloading songs ..Well I think its becuase most of the new stuff isnt worth paying for in all honestly,,,Why are the fans going to boost up sales that sound wack and therefore the artist will create more crap..I know when I hear something from a sample and if its good I will deff buy the album..I know I am guitly of downloading here and there and that is my reason..I aint rich and I would so feel stupid to spend my money on some wack cd I could have done some compra with lmao.nah I am kidding.

Now for supporting the shows I mean its plain and simple why no one goes..The mics never work the artist never show up the events are not organized ..I mean if you from the area I am sure you wouldnt mind but if your going to travel why put up with that ..I mean some travel but its because they have met some peeps through the boards and chill out ..I know even if I did live in the area I am not sure I would go with all the Bs fans go through to be in a hot ass club waiting hours till performance then shit be all messed up when it comes to performances.I give props to those who do go despite all that .Thats hardcore for real .. ..People still blame the fans and industry ....I dont get it,....Freestyle will never be what it once was ...Just accept it and quit pointing the blame...

I love freestyle but I accepted that its not going to be what it once was ..

I gove props to Nuimage and Licyn now those are some tracks I look forward to hearing..Its artist like you who do what it takes to do for your fans hard work and dedication..I never see cynthia whining or blaming she keeps doing

what she loves regardless..
ok you give props to Nuimage and Licyn so do i. they are what make me want to take this shit to another level. let me ask you this? if the radio don't play their stuff how far do you think they will go? us die hard freestlye fans will buy their records but aside from that what else do they have to look forward to? freestlye is loved by people all over the world. i was reading the credits on the NUimage cd and they thanked their fans in germany! just imagine that! if this music can touch souls all over the world then whats stopping it from being BIG? yes there are some songs that sounds like they recorded in out of someones bathroom but thats not the majority. if you are a true lover of the music then you should go to shows to show your support if you can. so freestlye shows may be disorganized because they are done in clubs with messed up sound systems with no air condition but you are not there to critic the production. you are there to support the music and the artist. thank god people like sal and gungy are still in the game to put these shows together. we need to get the industry to respect our music and we can't do that if we accept that its a thing of the past. if we had support from the big record companies the freestyle shows would take place in big arenas with the best sound systems. we can't get there from here is we just give up on the music. whats the point of making new freestyle if there is no place for it in the industry?

Meliisa ;

Thanks for the support My Music has been sent in the past and most recently re summitted to James Anthony and KTU for consideration.

I thanks allot of the fans and Cf memebers I ve had three songs #1 in the Annualy countdown for the past 3yrs in a row and still no major radio or Mix show play in The US.

Bottom line is, becoming a member of clubfreestyle is not "supporting" freestyle. It's getting you in touch with other fans of the music, and some of the artists/producers that bring it to us.

I'm not saying support every song that comes out, but if you like it, buy it, and request it on the radio. I know when Dana Rayne did her remake of "Object of My Desire", people publicly said they didn't like it. I did. I bought it, and when Johnny Budz put it in his mix show, I called KTU to tell them I wanted to hear it again.

I called KTU when Judy and James played new music by Nu Image, Vanessa Valentin, and Ayna.

I have people who email me because of my station, and want to know if I can "send" them the songs. I send them links to where they can buy the music.

I've had situations where I have been offered "free" passes into shows, because the promoters or artists have emailed me to thank me for mentioning the shows here on cf. I turn them down, and pay my way in. Paying at the door is showing support, and how can I complain about people not supporting if I get in for free? That would be hypocritical. I know that members here are not free to go where they want all the time. We have mothers and fathers here, whos first priority has to be the family. But hey, if the kids are taken care of by a sitter, and you have the night free, and you like the line up, go to the show. But if you don't like who is playing, don't go. Hell, nothing is worse than spending an evening where you don't want to be.

You know time and time again you keep preaching the same stuff about supporting freestyle, calling up radio stations, and bringing freestyle to the next level. It's one thing to have a passion about something and it's another thing to preach out too much about it. And if there's one thing I can't stand ... it's a preacher.

Personally I think a lot of us have supported the music in our own special way whether it's been by buying cds, going to the shows, and calling up radio stations from time to time. But Payac every time you talk about bringing freestyle to the next level and taking artists as far as they can go ... it's almost like saying you want all Freestyle Artists to become rich and famous and earn millions and millions of dollars. Is that what you're trying to say? 'Cause if that's what you really want ... THEN I'm not for it.

We all have lives and we all work. We all got bills to pay and families to raise. No one needs someone like you to tell us how we should support freestyle music. You don't know any of us like that and you don't know how much we support the music, some more than others. I could understand if you are full of passion for the music and want to make your opinion heard ... but sheesh you're really going overboard with this.

One more thing on the subject, you call yourself an artist (possibly a freestyle artist) but yet I never heard of any of your music and your name on CD compilations. Do you even have a single or album out? If you think artists like you deserve more respect and exposure then you are given then how about let's us hear one or two of your songs and we will tell you if you got what it takes to go far ...

wow have i upset you? are you taking this personal? well i guess you have a problem not me. im just making a point that freestyle needs support and if anyone of us supports it thats all we can do. im not telling anyone how to live or what to do here just making suggestions on what we canndo to give this music the same chances other genre of music have. i don't know how you can turn that into something negative and i don't know how you can call it preaching. here you are free to read what you want to read and say what you want to say so if you don't like what is being said thats ok. as far as my personal experience in the freestyle industry you seem to want to know a lot about me. i don't have any secrets so here it is. i used to sing, write, perform way back in the early 90's my stage name was ciara fontaine. i had two songs out "Tears to My eyes" and "Don't Let This Feeling End" which I also wrote. Later Lil Suzy re-recorded " Don't Let This Feeling End" and later it was re-recorded by a guy and girl duet (i can't remember their names) on Warlock Records. I have not performed in shows in any recent time but i still write and have written songs for one of our freestlye legends whom i can't mention yet as the legal details are still being worked out. today I am enagaged and have a 9 year old son. Although Im not working on any thing for myself i am still writing and are good friends with many of the freestyle singers that we all know and love. let me know if there is anything else you wish to know about me and i will send you a resume.

All this talk about support,support,support

More like life support!

Support is like respect. You can't beg for respect it is something you earn or command but never ever ask for.If you're asking for respect/support then you're not deserving of it.

Make quality music that people want hear and people will buy your product. Not just a handful of fans desperate for any new freestyle no matter how lousy it sounds.

What I have bought lately?

Bangin' beatrs 2

Will get the new Lyscin, Nu Image when its released.Other than that I see nothing else fit to spend my money on.

Latino wit talent.... oh yea... i almost forgot.. my real name is paula and i had a song on a house compilation album called "with me" which was released on Digital Genesis Records" by Freddy
"The Edit" Rivera. the album was called "Let There Be House Volume II".. you see sending you a resume would have been a lot easier.

LOL ... I'm talking this personal?? I'm upset?? Sounds like you want to take credit for something that's not there. As for your point, you made your point a lot ... and you can see it's doing more bad than good. AND for the record I never ever said you were telling us how to live our lives ... I said WE ALL have lives .... meaning, we got other things to do. So can you show me exactly where I said you were telling us how to live our lives? And yes what you done is considered to be a form of preaching. It's not negative to have a passion for something but your so-called suggestions were already acknowledged by all of us so you don't have to keep letting us know the same thing over and over again. 'Cause then it begins to sound like a broken record.

And as for me having problems ... remember I'm not the one who came on this site talking about how unfair it is that Freestyle Artists can't be on billboard charts and win grammys, or how us buying freestyle albums and compilations do nothing for the artists and we need to keep calling radio stations to play new music.

Sounds to me, you got some issues lol

heres some "pointers' for the future of freestyle

number one

For the love of christ hesusis..mary magdelan (or mondolay) the holy ghost and all things sacred on this earth and the afterlife....RETIRE THE GODDAM FUQIN BOO BOO BOO BOO BO CHICA * PLANET ROCK BACK LOOP *ahem for those of you still not getting the point here i repeat* THE GODAWFUL MAKING MY EARS BLEED PLANET ROCK LOOP!!!!!!! its especially laughable when "NEW SCHOOL " artist are promising there gonn a bring it new flava new style yadda yadda yadda...but rely on a sample from 25 years ago its been done to death let it go progress move foward..

i mean heaven forbid you should take the time to go into the studio and actually put in work and produce something new and refreshing a new collection of beats never heard before....naaaaaw why do that we can always use another freestyle song with that loop!!!*by the way in my humble opinion one of the number one reasons for the demise but what do i know???*

Number two
start writing lyrics about other subjects besides the fact that your girls legs are open more then a seven eleven and she dont want you no more so youre in youre room in the dark for three days crying you stink cause you havent had a bath and your job let you go for "no show" or that youre man left with the next biatch!!! and your planning your revenge..and he wont know what he had until youre gone *hurls and blows chunks into an airline barf bag saved from last trip to florida*

refrain from typical corny ass lines the following have been done to death also

when i look into your eyes....

my heart is torn-broken like glass-scar ridden-bleeding tears-got trampled e.t.c....

you and i were meant to be..

anything asking WHY??
why did you leave ..why did you cheat..why did you lie..why did you have three kids since we broke up i thought we were getting back together??

just some generals but you get my direction Love is actually a beautiful thing most other music styles actually make songs about that ....FREESTYLE is the only one that uses the (LOVE SUCKS) anthem in 98.9% of all its ummmmm hits??

NUMber three

if you cant sing you know you cant....stop trying to fool the world..people have told you some indirectly trying to be polite some have taken to drive by shooting youre house when you sing in the shower but still you get out there you label yourself a *FREESTYLE RECORDING ARTIST* and swear youre going to be the one champion to save freestyle from the grave it was put into many years ago

many people forget to be a singer you have to actually be able to sing!!!

i mean when i bring my car to a mechanic i want him to be able to just pinpoint the problem and be able to fix it no problem..not ask me "well what do you think"?

if i go to the doctor i want to be sure he is state certified knows what the hell hes doing and can diagnos whats going on so i wont die unesscicarily

I want the pilot on my next flight to have alot of hours of flight time experienced..not flying the plane just because a few of his buddies gassed him up telling him "that he could do it"..and flys my plane into a mountain while im stting in one of those plane bathrooms that feels like youre in a phone booth taking a shit *what a way to go*

latino wit talent... im done with this because you are turning this into something that ist not. you don't have to read what i wrote but you were ineterested so you read it. obviously what i said has striked a nerve because you continue to try an criticise what im saying. i want freesytle to be in the mainsteam and for our artists and producers who deserve recognition to get it. i don't care who gets rich or who doesn't. if you don't feel the same way thats ok. we don't to agree on everything. freestyle music means a lot to me so im always ready to say what i feel. like i said before you don't have to lsiten. you don't even have to like it. you keep saying how you have a life but it seems that you are spending a lot of time on this thread trying to discredit me. it wont work because i stand behind everything i say. if you have a problem with that then you are the one with the problem. peace!!!!

number four
dress to impress!!!! your doing a show people are paying to see you preform!!! youre on stage!!!

me personally i get dresed up nice if im just going outside to get the mail..im just like that..

you show up to do a show and you got a ripped t shirt and some old fADED jeans??!!!

OR A SKIMPY DRESS THAT YOU WORE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IS SO TIGHT NOW YOURE ASS IS INGESTING IT FROM THE BACK AND YOU CANT BREATHE MUCH LESS SING??!!

come on now when you go to work look your best it appplies to any job

number five!!!

dont say "im dropping my album soon"

in freestlye that could mean in a month or it could be three four years from now depending

have it ready have it done have it wrapped up with shrink wrap ready to actually "drop soon" before you make such vague annocements!!!!!!

number six

A COLD HARD FACT SOME OF YOU MAY GO INTO SHOCK SO BRACE YOURESELF

FREESTYLE HAS AS MUCH A CHANCE AS BEING MAINSTREAM AGAIN AS LAS VEGAS HAVING ANOTHER CONCERT DONE LIVE BY ELVIS PRESLEY!!!!!!!!!

we love it we play it we get together with our little circle of friends..our little click on the internet sites..we go out to the shows..and we appreciate our freestyle music

REALITY CHECK MC HAMMER HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF MAKING A COMEBACK!!!

NUmber seven
stop leaving the toilet seat up!!!!!

DOH!! sorry thats just something MZ crazy keeps drilling into my head my bad!
