5/26/02......

Every single freestyle fan has a responsibility to make sure that they stand up and unite as one. With the recent events that have happened I am sad and disappointed to see fans taking sides and seeing promoters turning their backs on freestyle music.

Do we remember why we even started hearing freestyle or better yet where and how freestyle came to be?? Im not gonna stand here and get on a high horse people but are we gonna allow ourselves to loose freestyle music forever this time???

Yes we need to remember that first of all this is a business like any other. But as any business it can only be as good as its workers and managers. But I also tell every single worker and manager out there you dont dictate what your customers get, they dictate to you what they want.

Every single day I learn something new about life and the mucic business. Some of them are good some are not. But are we going to let our music and I will say it again OUR music DIE.......

I have seen alot of doors being open and even more being closed for freestyle music over the years. And everytime we make progress us the fans kill it. Not supporting artists and going to shows and we expect our music to survive???? Come on people. We have radio stations playing freestyle that have not done so in years. Years people!!!! And we dont support this events come on...

I say if we are to keep our music alive then go out buy a CD from a new artist to promote freestyle go to the shows. And email and call radio stations in your area and other areas that you know where they play freestyle.

Back in 1983 freestyle music was just a sound herd in the streets. By the late 80's it was main stream. But now in 2002 its very close to being just a memory in our dreams. YOu tell me what you guys think are thinking and planning to do to change this state. Or you might as well say RIP freestyle music 82-02.........

Wow I went out and had a good holiday listend to some great jams all over ktu com in late tonite and find some chilling posts and one that is even closed on the matter. By the way yes I went and I will go to more. As far as Freestyle goes I believe it will never die. Enough said.

one major thing u have adressed there are no more fans at least no new ones and i can see from posts how u dont even aknowledge the artists yeh some do and so will make a big deal of how much they love them and there music but itz all talk..im witnessing first hand im at the shows and i see very few peepz
i look at sales of freestyle when i hear we got like 15 orders from
freestyle fanz well ok who u kidding the sound of freestyle will never die 4 ever but the heartbeat is a flat line ..its a shame but we the fans were the only people that could do anything 4 us ..the artists are not to blame nor your ledgends it like they forseen what would happen and they didnt want go through the pain so they left on a high note when they were on top so they always have that to look back on
not this heartbreaking crap now

Freestyle died by 93'. The existance of freestyle sites and freestyle shows does not constitute it being alive rather than dead. There also disco sites and disco shows. The one big difference is that freestyle is still being produced here and there. Commercially speaking, it's been dead for about 10 years. What's MOST important is that everyone TRY to keep it going so that these sites and the shows continue, as well as the new material being produced....this is of course for those who believe something is better than nothing. As I've said to so many others, as long as you keep it in your heart always, it will live within you forever.I must add this as well....Don't be hipocrites; some "worry" that freestyle is dying, yet they steal, I mean download, all their obtained music. There's not much that can't be found on a cd somewhere. Make downloading a LAST resort after you've exhausted all other possibilities. 🙂

very true kenny... not to mention alot more make better lives in europe...

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT MANY DISCO ARTISTS/GROUPS STILL RECORD TODAY, BUT NOT "DISCO" & STILL EXPERIENCE "SUCCESS"!

True...just as many freestyle artists have done and are doing, more or less for the same reason the disco artists have.

Anthony, thats my point. I dont tend to hear any DISCO fans goin balistic when thier favorite DISCO artist chooses to go "POP" or any other direction. They are usaully happy to get something out of them. Thats what we should do with out legendary freestyle artists...."support thier music!"

I understand 100%. I think the reason for what you're saying (about the fans reactions) is due to the fact that freestyle is still being produced, thus the fans expect nothing other than freestyle. If freestyle was 100% dead (in every concept), it might be a different story. Let's hope we don't find out though!!

Did somebody say freestyle is over??

Freestyle will die

OVER THIS FREESTYLE FANS DEAD BODY!!!!!!!!!!
🙄

DISCO never died

PUNK never died

FREESTYLE WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know KTU diss new freestyle, TRL don't find Freestyle worthy to rotate behind NSuck. But that's OK. We the Freestyle fans who buy the CD's and go to the shows make it worthy!!!!!! That's the most important thing. If the fans stay true to freestyle, it will never die!!!!!

I'm on my mission, I just recived Lil Suzy's new single w/Stephanie. Awesome track. Pick it up!!!

FREESTYLE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freestyle will never die..Not with the fans that we have..if you havent noticed..Not only do you have fans who go way back when it first came out..But do realize that you got fans at my age, and fans at the age of 8!! Im sorry...But with the new generation, and the old..Freestyle will NEVER die!!!

I personally try to go to events, even at my age..Not to just have fun and party..but to be there for the promoters, and to be there for my Freestyle...You claim to say it has died..or that it will..but dammit..have the faith and be the one to keep it a live!!!!
