DISCO never died

PUNK never died

DISCO in my opinion, blended into CLUB MUSIC (LIME, FREEZE, shannon, planet patrol)and ELECTRONICA.

PUNK....I see BLENDED into NEW WAVE, GOTHIC & SKA.

They all have similarities that transend into one another.

FREESTYLE has its roots in DISCO, somewhere!

if the fans dont accept the new school artists and the new school sound.....then it will be only a memory in the near future.....

Point taken!!!!!!!

Full Punk still exist today, but it's very regional. That's how freestyle is. It's mostly at the clubs. I talk to some Punk and Freestyle fans who think that mainstream exposeure will damage

the state of freestyle today can be blamed on nobody but the fans...i have little faith in freestyle fans...its quite a shame

Freestyle died by 93'.
not really. maybe for you on the east coast. but in the mid and late 90's new school freestyle (as well as old freestyle), was getting airplay in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. even places like texas and florida. remember songs by angelina, jocelyn enriquez, and others?

if the fans dont accept the new school artists and the new school sound.....then it will be only a memory in the near future.....
that is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true!!!!!!!!!!!!!! listen to that everybody!

Nice discussion.
I busted my ass for the last 2 years
to get us this far. Dedicated my Life
to this organization for everyone here.

You know what gets me- people always
complaining... NEVER taking action.

I dont want to hear any fkin misery.
If you cant enjoy freestyle music for what
it is - then don't.

If some of you want to be friggin pissed at me for
saying this - I dont really give a shit.

You want to go cry on the other sites about
JackG and how mean he is - I dont and never
did Give a Rats Ass.

Frankly, I am sick of all the whining.

PEACE

yeah are right jack...its all bitch moan...and sit on ur ass and dont do anything...PEOPLE DONT EVEN BUY CDS!!!! even me the one who talked so much crap about tka went out and got the album...JUST FOR THE SUPPORT!!!! we need to get out as a community and support!!! but its sad cause it wont happen 🙁

That is exactly what im talking about Toni, no matter what we do the state of freestyle is very dim at best. Yes we have die hard fans I am one of them. But I keep getting my eyes opened every day...

Well here in Miami two radio stations have switched there formats. Party 93.1 Plays a new format of nothing but Dance and Freestyle and Mega 103.5 plays Mostly Dance classics from the 80's and early 90's I would say probably about 65 percent freestyle. and the later station mentioned now also showcases Freestyle on Fridays which they call "Freestyle Fridays" as well as broadcast live on Saturday night Bermuda Bar and play all the great Freestyle Hits. So you say Freestyle is dead, Well not in Miami it Ain't. Freestyle will live for ever

LIKE CRYS SAID WITH ALL THE YOUNGER PPL LISTENING 2 FREESTYLE IT WON'T DIE
LIKE I WROTE IN MY POST

FS WILL NOT DIE, WHEN WE HAVE SO MANY YOUNGER PPL LOVING IT,
