I'm chilling here wih my boyfriend and we are hearing "I won't give up on you by TKA of course and that's his least favorite song from TKA .So I'm wodering what is yours?Mine is "Is it Love".

I'm not a huge huge TKA fan...but I must say...all of them are great. Not one I find mediocre. Sorry.

I never really likes Crash.........

michelle visage rapping didn't fit well with me but whatever it's old................. I really like most the TKA songs

Don't get me wrong guys.....I love TKA.When I first saw TKA perform in 92 there was a str8 couple who kissed to "Louder than Love".I saw TKA in 2002 and my boyfriend and I kissed to that song too but we almost got kicked out(We were atthe PNC bank arts center but so what)It doesn't matter whether you are gay or str8 if freestyle is in your heart than that's all tha matters.

TKA is in da house!
Say Tony Moran is in da house!

Every song from the TKA album Forever. That CD sucked. You can call me a basher but they sucked so bad. I LOVE TKA. But they are not a house group. Release a Freestyle cd and put house versions on the 12 inch versison, not the CD. Lil Suzy did almost the same thing with her last album and she has not had a hit since. TKA, I cannot wait for the new cd that is supposed to have all freestyle. Just a thought!

Wow! "I Won't Give Up On You" actually was one of their better jams.. There is a remix cassette (I am sure CD by now) out there with a few different versions of it and they are better than the next..

Gotta keep on, gotta keep on, gotta keep keep keep on trying....... 🙂

What was the actual problem with "Forever"? For someone who didn't like it, why? That was good house music. They took it back to the early 70's on the deep-soul house tip ("Feel The Music", "Move Out The Way"). How can u not feel that? lol

I'm not a huge TKA fan either but they're not an act that has put out anything really bad. I like "Crash" & "I Won't Give Up", but I agree, the raps do make it sound dated and a corny today.

MARK. I think the sales of Forever speak for how good the cd was!!!! And those who bought sold it to cd stores cause it was so bad!

The reason the sales didnt reach high sales is becuz Tommy Boy shut down....and sales nessecarily constitute the value of an album....I know lotssssssssssssssssssssssssss of albums that were good, matter of fact great, but just becuz something makes sales doesnt mean it's good!!! Today's artist are not as original or at heart as of those b4....

ok lets get something str8.....tka forever was not freestyle...we were all upset by that...but forever if your mind is open to other types of music, that cd was great...i know we have our own opinion and i was pretty pissed off that it wasnt freestyle, but when i strted to listen to it and got over the fact that it wasnt freestyle... it turns out that the album is a real good piece of music...diffenrent from what was out on the streets alrerady it had its own flavor...i love it!!1

mellow 729..........settle settle settle, must we freestyle fans who have spent thousands of dollars on freestyle music, supporting it so that it will flourish, must settle for house crap from a freestyle group......no way........compared to artists who do house music........this cd sucked....i am a dj and have been spinning all types of music for over 20 years and TRUST ME......Forever was not a good house records either.......D+ at best..........

Listen I have to say from my view- I like maybe 3 songs from the cd..........

and even so- it's part of the past, no reason to hold it against them..they have new material coming up!!...it's a wait and see process.

Maybe it's just me but I think Forever was a very good cd and I still listen to it frequently. I think When Will I See U Again and U Dont Feel It are excellent songs. So not everyone disliked that cd!!!

Nah, the sales speak for how bad the promotion was. Tommy Boy didn't shut down but they don't really promote the albums. In fact it seems like the artists on Tommy Boy are pretty much responsible for their own promotion. Tommy Boy just offers the manufacturing and distribution. That's what it seems like.

I'm not saying "Forever" was the best house album, I'm just saying there was some good stuff on there and it just didn't get any promotion.

As usual a thread is posted asking one question and everyone gets into some other shiat. I gotta go with Mellow and Mark on this one since it seems this thread was turned into a TKA Forever album thread. I bought the CD and liked it but then again that could be because Freestyle isn't the only thing I listen to, cool the CD wasn't Freestyle but it had a very good blend of songs on it. Everyone seems to want to hold this album against the group as if its been the only thing they have ever done. Everyone is still stuck on Freestyle making a big come back and they hold the resposiblity of that on this group. Be grateful for what they have given up and stop stressing what yall think they should give the so called fans. Holla
