Oh God, here I go.

Everyone knows that Cynthia is a very talented, dedicated artist in every shape or form. Even I have every album that she has put out.

What? She can't have a bad hit? Please, even the best of artists have a few dud's here and there. Mariah has a few corny hits. Judy has some as well. Even Madonna! They get shit for it too. That's show-business.

Personally, I don't care for her ballads that much. Nor do I care for "One Mistake". So what do I do, skip to the next track.

We all do it. So what's the big deal? Let's not put someone down because so-and-so is your "favorite" artist.

I ain't bashing no one, I'm just giving my honest opinion. And if I'm going to piss someone off because of that, too bad.

"Never Thought I'd Let You Go" is, probably, my FAVORITE track from Cynthia.

No I'm not offended by the thread, I understand everyone has a right to their opinion. As a Fan of Freestyle and of the Artist it just a little depressing. So I'll just put on your CD and dance my woes away.:dancingb :listen

This thread should not escalate out of context! I don't understand? Is it so hard for some to mention which certains songs they don't like? Why must some of us always take it a bit far off? Even Nyasia said she don't like some of her songs!!! So you see not all artists are gonna be offended if you feel one of their songs is mediocre.

If this thread continues heading the wrong way I will lock it and END OF CONVERSATION! I'm tired of this shit that some of us cannot be adults and sit down behind our PC's and write POSITIVE replies instead of looking for a way to cause drama. If some of these artists would feel offended...they should come to Clubfreestyle and defend themselves or better yet conversate with us instead of sitting back and reading. Which many artists Im sure do that.

It's true everyone has the right to there opinion. But I thought this site was to "Promote" freestyle music and artist through CF members and Fans. How can it be promoted when there are CF members and Fans pointing out negativity on an artist. Wouldn't you think that would dicourage any artist that's being kind of put down?
I think we should praise them on there talent and for the songs we do like more than anything, they are the reason why we ALL love freestyle.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Wow, this thread is truly uncalled for. Members I am not expecting everyone to enjoy and embrace every single song I've recorded. To be quite honest there were a couple of songs I wish I did not record, but we all learn from our mistakes.
Bottom line is I can't please everyone but I can I can surely thank god and be satisfied for what I have accomplished. For someone to still perform fifteen years later to, change on me and dream boy is amazing. Might I add I've never been signed to a major label nor have I ever released any videos in my career.
I honestly owe it all to my fans, supporters and radio who till this day follow my career and support it. There is no greater pleasure than that.
So instead of creating a thread that can be perceived as negative , you might want to use that energy to help keep the love for freestyle alive.............That's what this website is all about,the love of freestyle....................

Now, how's that for a statement, you have to admire and resect the artist's opinion especialy the fact she took time to answer this thread. It must piss an artist off to come into a site so show support for genre,fans and the site then to have to read this thread.
Again I say to Cynthia, Nyasia, Willie, Manny, Ashley..and many other thank you your time and efforts are appreciated.:biggrin
 
unfortunately I have not been able to delete this thread because of all the server changes going on. but i do agree that this thread should not have been made, like so many others that focus on the negative of the situation.

Cynthia, please do not waste your time explaining yourself. The old school pioneers like myself have been in this business for years and know what you have accomplished throughout the years of freestyle. I see you at almost every big event and you are one of the reasons why freestyle is still alive today.These young kids today don't realize how hard you had to work to get to where you are today.

Hummmmm Lemme break out my video tape of you performing at Town Hall in Main Street Flushing on Northern Blvd back in the day when the stage collapsed.😀

...the thread that I joking started the other day ("Least Favorite CF Member" was shut down due to negativity, yet the ones encouraging negative posts about an artist remain active?

The point that I was trying to make the other day was that the original mission of the sites was to promote and maintain Freestyle music as a prominent form of musical expression. I believe that there is room for opinion on this and the other sites, but sometimes the attacks seem a bit personal. If one chooses to review material, then that is a proper forum. Roger Ebert does it all the time. But you never saw Siskel, Ebert and Roeper bash the movies they review as their least favorite Mel Gibson, etc. movie.

Here's the deal. Buy the album and write a coherant review. Give all sides an equal opportunity if a track is good, say so. If production is weak on another track, feel free to mention it.

As much as I commend the artists who are active on the Freestyle websites, I also have to understand if an artist is staying away to avoid the negativity. I personally know of artists who no longer log on to the websites for that very reason. If your mission is to attract the very artists who we admire to the website...negativity is a strange way to accomplish that mission.

Cynthia, TKA, and all other artists deserve more respect than to have to read (along with the rest of the free world) just how "bad" some of their work is.

I imagine no one has ever had a bad day at work. Heck, I can remember a few "least favorite" radio shows that I have performed. I have also had a bad episode or two as a Club Director...and you haven't had a bad moment at your job?

I (and I'm sure most of you) will continue to support the artists who have worked so hard in the past to give us the memories, and in the future when their recent hard work is sure to pay off.

Haven't ya learned people love dramaaaaaa how many threads have been posted on TKA, Safire talking bout there songs and what they should and shouldnt do this is my first time coming up in this thread and as usual I find it funny as hell. People take this internet mierda to seriously everyone is entitled to there own opinion but realize negative comments, threads always get more attention and I am sure the creator of this one meant no harm she surely isnt the first to post up a thread like this. Safire is my all time favorite artist and as a fan there isnt one song she has done that I don't like her work and accomplishments speak for themselves, but just because she is my favorite doesnt mean she is everyone elses and I am quick to come to bat for her as well as my partnah in crime. So people take a breath relax its all about opinions dont put so much energy into negative post and put up positive ones. 😀
