Yesterday it was bright and sunny too and my daughter went to Hershey Park. However, all it did was rain and thunder up there and it was fine here. She said she was soaked. 😛 But made the best of it. 😀

:drool Hersheypark :drool haven't been there this year..... yet...... it always rains when we're there...... we end up going on the chocolate ride 5 times in a row till it lets up!!!!!!!!!

Seitz, I haven't been there once! I'm dying to go too but I'm sure glad yesterday wasn't it. lol......lol......

I can't enjoy any amusement park when it rains. It sucks! 🙁

u should go..... great for families...... great coasters for the older kids & adults & lotsa kiddie rides too....... we been going every year since '88!!!!!!

well we went to GA after all....... got there about 5:30....... it had just poured so the 10 mile stretch of highway leading from the park to the NJ Turnpike was a parking lot....... the whole stretch near the McDonalds & Wawa was backed up...... the whole exiting road was completely backed up........ it was a mad exodus...... it was like a ghost town...... it was like twilight zone...... everyone left & there were no rides running........ we went in to see what was going on...... apparently there was a concert & it started raining & everyone left....... they opened all the rides a short time after that and we had the whole park to ourselves the rest of the nite!!!!!!! Just how I like it!!!!!!! :yeey

Hey Sietz...

That happened to me and my bestfriend... when we got there on a Friday night, it was raining so everyone was leaving. Of course, I didn't leave especially since it was like 7:00 at night and we just got there.

We waited for about an hour, then it opened up and it was all ours.

EXCEPT SUPERMAN - I still haven't gotten on that one. lol

I am on vacation the week of the 25th and I am taking my kids to Dorney Park on the 25th.

I went on line to see what rides they have, and they seem to have more "in between" kiddie rides there. You know what I mean?

My kids are too big (think they are) for the actually "kiddie" rides, but they are definitely too small for the big rides and Great Adventure doesn't have many "inbetween" rides to offer kids.

I can't wait. I haven't been to Dorney Park since I was in the 6th grade.

Let's just say over 20 years. OMG. 🙁 :crap

Cool Gina...... yeah Dorney is great...... we usually hit it every year but we haven't this year yet..... alot has changed in 20 years :lol I went for my 8th grade trip (1984) for the first time.... it was like a picnic grove at the time but it was fun!!!!!! Also when u go remember the waterpark is included...... and find discounts at supermarkets or Wendys I think..... u could save a few bucks..... there's plenty of rides for kids of all ages..... my kids love Dorney!!!!!! :drool
