However, all it did was rain and thunder up there and it was fine here. She said she was soaked. 😛 But made the best of it. 😀

I can't enjoy any amusement park when it rains. It sucks! 🙁
Cool Gina...... yeah Dorney is great...... we usually hit it every year but we haven't this year yet..... alot has changed in 20 years :lol I went for my 8th grade trip (1984) for the first time.... it was like a picnic grove at the time but it was fun!!!!!! Also when u go remember the waterpark is included...... and find discounts at supermarkets or Wendys I think..... u could save a few bucks..... there's plenty of rides for kids of all ages..... my kids love Dorney!!!!!! :drool4eVerFreeStyle said:Hey Sietz...
That happened to me and my bestfriend... when we got there on a Friday night, it was raining so everyone was leaving. Of course, I didn't leave especially since it was like 7:00 at night and we just got there.
We waited for about an hour, then it opened up and it was all ours.
EXCEPT SUPERMAN - I still haven't gotten on that one. lol
I am on vacation the week of the 25th and I am taking my kids to Dorney Park on the 25th.
I went on line to see what rides they have, and they seem to have more "in between" kiddie rides there. You know what I mean?
My kids are too big (think they are) for the actually "kiddie" rides, but they are definitely too small for the big rides and Great Adventure doesn't have many "inbetween" rides to offer kids.
I can't wait. I haven't been to Dorney Park since I was in the 6th grade.
Let's just say over 20 years. OMG. 🙁 :crap
