HEy freestyle freaks I was wondering if you guys thought i did the right thing by speaking out against the wrongs of freestyle (this is nonmeant for any body in particular. I did it for the love of the music. I have been a fan of freestyle since the beginning with the Latin Rascals, Shannon, etc. This issue has been driving me personally nuts cause its quite philosophical. One one end it was people that i always admired and respected in the Community. People that helped make freestyle what it is today and I a strongly believe can help make freestyle more mainstream again. My posts where never ment to be vindicative or abusive. I just wanted to tell what was on my heart and on the majority of fans hearts. I was always treated very well by these people and that maybe some understanding can come to light but I think the fans deserve the truth. It seems to be that my words to some people where taking to mean that i was insulting those performers when in fact i was just defending my views and i will be supporting those performers until they reach top ten on KTU Ever since i first saw them at BackDrafts in the Anti Valentines day show i thought Nu Image were going to bring freestyle to the Next Level. To be honest it seems that everyone on both sides of this issue seemed to take to heart what was going on and that proves that freestyle has a deep place in our hearts. Well that is what i feel and i wanted to express what I was thinking about the past few days.
 
Pete sweetie don't lose sleep over it. you stated your opinion and that's that. you have a right to say your piece. You didn't insult anyone, you just said what was bothering you.

well this goes for everyone on cf......just remember 1 thing god made us each different in our ways but in the image and likeness of god we all have different points of views and opinions and that is cool now if we all were to agree on the same thing over and over with can u imagine how dull and boring this world we live in would be?

oh lord dont even let me get started.......thats why we all have hearts cuz we feel, when u have an emotion a feeling u speak of it thats why u have a mouth so that u can use it and express urself

cuz when u express urself u lettin ur voice be heard and let it be known that in here on cf CoOl Al will never stay shut ah! ah! not me hell no cuz when u gotta express an opinion just make sure u do it on appropiate way that u wont dissrespect no one

so dont be ashame to let out ur feelings just say what u gotta say and go on with ur life the world doesnt stop there just bcuz u have an opinion know what i mean?
 
Pete, just a little advice bro. Don't feel the need to apologize for expressing your views. Isn't that what America is all about? Self-expression? People are either going to appreciate what you say, or disagree with it. That's how it is and that's how it will always be. You can't please everyone. Besides, I'm sure we are all mature people here at ClubFreestyle. There's no need to get a little uptight about a post.
 
Pete! You did what you had to do. Forget about it! I'm sure you're feeling this guilt or whatever it is due to the response of a certain person. Don't sweat it. You did the right thing cuz if it hadn't been you it would have been someone else.

We are all greatly upset by this turn of events and I dunno what others thought would happen but obviously they didn't expect this! 😉

It's a good thing. They need to realize that they aren't on a pedestal and that we are not meaningless beings in this game they are playing. We have feelings and are very passionate about OUR FREESTYLE! No joke!

Just get ready to party at the Wild Palm on July 3rd and let the rest of it go! 😉

Couldn't have said it any better myself! I completely agree with U on this one cArLiToS WaY. 😀 It is absolutely impossible to make EVERYONE happy so why bother!

Don't let this incident prevent you from expressing yourself in the future bro!
