I had this issue about who God is,why are we here, what the differences are between all of the religions! I read a bunch of books on all the topics mentioned.

And One scripture from the Bible explained it all;
(John Chapter 1 verse 1). In the beginning was the Word.

So easy isn't. We make things so hard on ourselves, in trying to figure out what this world is all about.

I believe we all pray to the same GOD/CREATOR,no matter what religion you are and he knows who the good people are and who's pure evil.Im not sure in the RAPTURE thing yet,god would have to make me a sign to believe in that.
 
Believing in the RAPTURE?I believe in GOD ,but the RAPTURE talks nothing about CATHOLICS,JEWISH,ETC...Just CHRISTIAN belief-which I feel is wrong and our GOD would not let anything bad happen to any good people.
 
I personally think that organized religion is a sham. I do believe in a higher power. Whether it's God, buddah, or whoever you believe. But, to have a religion set rules and say my religion knows the way to heaven and we're right,is crazy. The bible is a map. You read it and interprit it for yourself. You cant depend on someone to do it for you. Thats my take on religion. On ghost I do believe in them. I've seen 2. Not ashamed to admit. My take on UFO I believe but I read a book once and there theory on the UFO's was that there not aliens but there evolved humans from the future. Coming to alter some history and fix mishaps that screwed the plant up in the future. Dunno, but I do know, that we should live our life to the fullest and appreciate our loves while they are here with us.

the great thing about the God of the bible is from the beginning he gave us the choice between believing and not believing. He never singled out catholics, jews, muslims, buddhist or any religion. Its a choice we make as humans to believe in what we want whether its right or wrong.

The rapture are for those who have made the choice to believe that Jesus life, death and resurrection is true and with that have been given eternal life in heaven with Jesus.

Like Johnny O "the Pastor" says.
John 14:6, Jesus is the the truth, the life, the way nobody goes unto the father but by me.

Its that simple. Make Jesus your Lord and Savior in truth, and he will reserve a place for you in Heaven.

AMEN, The Bible Dont Lie!!! Im far from perfect, In fact Im in big trouble! But I know the word is true!! The bible stands for Biblacal instructions before leaving earth! lol : :lol :lol so im gonna start goin back to church.
 
yeah right,not everyones all of a sudden goes back to church,than again you dont need to go to church to believe and pray for him.Amen......the lord hears me.

No I wasnt biting your head off megatron-I was just saying practice what you preach,you dont have to go to church to believe in god.I go to church for weddings & funerals,just not a regular bases and god does not look down on that,I do pray and he listens,thats all I am saying.
 
everything happens for a reason and sometimes we wonder why? but the only thing we can do is just wait until our time is up when god calls us and when we be in front of him askin him all those unanswer questions hes gonna tell us the whole truth and nothin but the truth!
 
Cool Al, your right. BUt you don't have to wait. As Christ into your life, and your sin is forgive past, present and future. .

Frankie, you are also right, you don't have to go to Church to be saved and given eternal life through Jesus. But, too sharpen your faith, you def need to be with fellow believers.

Wow! What a heavy topic on clubfreestyle.

Do I believe in ghosts/spirits? Yes. I've witnessed some unusual things.

Do I believe in UFOs? Yes. I've never seen one, but I believe they are out there.

Do I believe in pure evil? Yes, one only needs to make a list of names......Bin Laden, Hussien, Hitler....and countless others.

Do I believe in God and the bible? I was raised Catholic, and went to Catholic school from kindergarten to 8th grade. I have issues with the organized religion of Catholicism. I always found it hypicritical that priests were quick to say things like "God helps those who help themselves." and then beg at the altar for my money weekly. I also have problems being told that what I do with another consenting adult is sinful, while it is ok for these pediphile priests to be shuffled from church to church turning countless children into their victims. While I believe the bible is a great tool to learn how to live, it can't be taken as 100% truthful.

God did not write that book. That book was written by men who could have put any hates and beliefs into it they wanted.

For a long time, I turned my back on God. I went through much personal pain for many years, and felt as if he didn't help me. Now, with the improvements I've made to myself, I've also decided to get my spiritual side back in order as well.

I have found a monestary by my house, with a chapel that is open to the public. Once a week, I go there, without anyone telling me what to do, and focus on Mary, who I have always felt closer to. I say the rosary, donate what I can, and leave feeling better than when I entered.

When people ask "Why are we here?" I try to give the same answer. To help each other along in life, to respect one another, to love one another.

Bottom line is, everyone has to find their own way to God.
 
Well, Im a Christan and have seen a UFo, and I had some super naterall exsperiance too, Its all out there. I beleave its all religiouse though. I mean spirits are real, Evil Spirits are demons and I beleave good spirits arnt good at all, there demons too.In disqise. Ufo's cold be Gods other projects hes had like the dinosours.

I like that thought. Don't know if it's true. With all the people who step from Him, he'd get nothing else done, but trying to chase them.
