I am writing the posts because this has gotton to my nerves. The producers, singers and all most of u guys are the biggest wimps and cry babies that cant take any criticism from your biggest fans. You guys shouldnt give a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what people say about you and let your music speak for itself. For Instance u dont see rappers like Emenim, Dr Dre, NWA not giving a damn about what people say to them they say who cares. In rock & roll do u see Aerosmith or Kidrock giving a damn about what the media says about them or how about country music singers they even made a song about how proud they were of there music called "I was country when country wasnt cool." Yet we get a major freestyle Record label owner, a dj on a highly rated NY radio station, stars themselves crying about a little online criticism. Get real thats why kids dont listen to freestyle because they dont want to be associated with anything wimpy. Rock and Rap are fighters, Freestylers are cry babies.

Freestyle Music Forever

No i want freestyle to grow and for the wimps to freaking leave the music so that the strong can handle the challanges that lie ahead for freestyle.

:mad HOW CAN U SAY THAT?!:mad U say u want Freestyle to grow and all the 'wimps' to leave the Freestyle music industry...well guess what. All those so called wimps are what MADE Freestyle music possible!!! U sitting there saying Freestyle Forever and all this crap to support Freestyle and then u dissin the ppl that provide the art of this music. :confused I dunno what else to say but...im kinda pissed off that ur sayin this...

For your information i have spent $1000s of dollars on cds, dvds, etc on Freestyle music and i have gone to 100s of Freestyle concerts, and the Diamante show etc so i have to say i am one of the biggest freestyle fans that ever walked this planet. Wimps didnt make freestyle big and popular. It Took courage what they did. DO u think it didnt take courage for metropolitan and even Micmac to start producing dance records after disco just died in 1983. No they didnt give a sh-t because they new they were on to something good.

blah blah blah :rolleyes

Things like that won't ever change Pete...you should know that by now

*looks shocked and scared at the same time* IIGHT, sorry i didnt know u felt so strong about this..so im sorry. Please dont start getting on me lol hahaha I guess i dont understand the way u feel because im only 14 and havent experienced Freestyle the way u have...

It's just that i felt offended by ur post cuz i love Freestyle.

Pete i can understand to a point what your saying. I myself get tired of the crying I see too, but like Krystal said it will never end. Fans, artists, radio stations, producers, hell even the dancers will freaking cry! we just need to move on. punto y se acabo la mierda ya! 🙂

Sorry I got on your nerves Pete, but when you're in a position like mine, and others on this board where you have to answer to everybody because they're not happy with the way you do things, you feel as if you have a certain responsibility to justify the way you do things. I think I have the right to respond to any criticism that comes my way, and if you don't like it, well I guess that you're entitled to your opinion as well.

And just a heads up, the reason kids don't listen to freestyle is because its from 1986. Get real. Do you listen to your parents music? No. Case closed.

I beg to differ. lol i listen to Freestyle and i'm only 14... =D ur probably thinking *yeah! good for you! Your only one kid.* lol but i just had to put a say into that.

No the reason kids dont listen to New Freestyle cause the radio doesnt play it for them. When i was 9 i heard Shannon' song play and i feel in love with Freestyle. IF u dont hear it on radio or see it on Tv how will a kid now it exists.

God bless you LOL!! I remember being 5 and being in love with freestyle...However, I was speaking in terms of a majority/minority. I wish all 14 year olds were into it like my brother is now (but that's just because of my lifelong influence over him lol)

thatz true because i wasnt exposed to Freestyle by media and i didnt know it even existed until i heard it from an older person who grew up with Freestyle...

see...i would love to have an older person there fo me who was a Freestyle fan like me...but i'm alone in my own lil world of freestyle here... *sigh* lol

I would have to disagree with that statement.
Rap and Hip/Hop artist have went so far as to rap and complain about what the fans have thought of them. Take eminems I Am for instance.

The diffrence here is that C.F actually give the fans a forum to discuss the dissapointments and the Actual artist and producers take the time to respond. I don't know of any real site that promotes this type of real interaction between artist and fan. I cant remember the last time I was in a chat room with Dr. Dre. discussing his music.

And as for spending 1000's on Cd's and going to show's,
HELL I've Spent 1000's also and Have gone to more shows than I can count. I was there In THE 80'S supporting Freestyle Paying off bouncers and the Dj's to make me a tape of the show's. So to say your one of Freestyle's biggest supporters Is kinda BALLSY. Many here have given as much support to freestyle as you have!!!

I had to bring my ass up in this thread. First you can not compare Hip-Hop and Rock N Roll to Freestyle. Shiat if I was Eminem, Dr. Dre I wouldnt give a shiat either why should artist such as those mentioned give a shiat about what a handful of fans got to say first off there main stream hence recognized WORLD WIDE by those that listen to there music and even those who don't. Where Freestyle is gasping for its last breath so of course people within the Freestyle community are gonna have complaints and take things more personal there the last of a dieing genre that isn't even reconized and whose following is so small in compared to any other genre out there. THese are artist, producers etc thaat arent backed by major lables who most often spend the money in there pockets to make an album that in the end fans such as yourself wont except because it isn't oldschool styled enough. People B**** and moan about artist not making any dayum albums and I don't get why cuz the minute they do people are talking shiat about it like flys on shiat on how it aint freestyle or the artist can't sing or the production was crappy. That's why such offense is taken those that try to do something positive get shiated on its bad enough radio stations only play a couple of hours of it but worse they wont touch the new stuff and artist producers Dj's aint suppose to take offense to. Please lets get real here ya should be thankful artist are still making Freestyle and stop being so dayum critical about what they put out face it the good old days of Freestyle are long gone and the majority of fans well those that call themselves fans wont except any change that goes off course to what they grew up listening to, thoose are the fans that make it impossible for anything to actually give it any kind of new life. Kids don't listen to the music cause it isn't played on the radio most of the youngins coming up now know it because of an influence in there homes who play it hell thats how my 15 yr old bro got into it and in turn put his friends onto it. Taking criticizim to heart does not make any one artist DJ producer etc a whimp it merely shows there passion for what they do it shows how fed up they are with the same shit being said by people who call themselves supporters, How can you say you support and in the same breath contribute to the bad mouthing of it. So ya know what bitch and moan ya got the right not to many of yall out there as is so as I say repeat after me F*** Yall. Then people wonder why a lot of the greats stop making Freestyle why they have left the Freestyle industry.
