rap hip hop....what a big hipocrasy..and i listen to it and sometimes wonder why...every song is the same bullshit..about being a player how many people you shot..how many bricks of dope your crew moved...how manly you are to be a pimp...how many cars you drive..how many mansions you own..a big dream of tony montana on steroids...going back to the fore fathers of todays rap NWA how cool it is to move drugs and not work a nine to five..one thing you dont hear a rap about is how many lives are destroyed by drugs in reality wheter it be a drug overdose deaths..crack babies women selling themselves to score..aids..people robbing thier own families to buy drugs..prison...real life homicides over drug sales..babys mommas raps..how glamourous and manly to make babies no one cares about..how great it is to be raised in poverty in a housing project..raps about what kind of jewlery one wears..what kind of champange you can afford...how great it is to be a "gangsta"..no raps made about single mothers chasing the fathers for child support..no raps about men and women waking up everyday in jail the first thing they see in the morning is the suns rays casting the shawdows of the bars in front of them and the highlight of there day is someone accepting a collect call from them..or a shower...and at night..having made it through another day without someone shanking them...or being raped..they are there for believing "the game" or being a "player"..how glamourous..being on lockdown.being seperated from loved ones..how cool..ask anyone in prison or rasing children alone or living in DA HOOD how cool it is... how tough they are..but makin a song about such things makes millions!! are we all that stupid??...but its just "art" "expression" tupac being gunned down by some individuals who are suspected to have been hired by the man he was sittng next to suge knight..just art .. he rappped and lived by the sword..claiming "art" but he died by the sword ..but still his murder remains "unsolved' plenty of cowards out there know the truth but not one has stepped forward...thats beyond wimpy.thats pu**y and still he realeases are making millions from beyond the grave.. and six months later biggie..who i love..probably the best rapper ever..but what was he rapping about? he was allready rapping from the first song about what his destiny was ..being involved in that life..he was scared and knew how he would finally get a toe tag...his last album was called "ready to die" was he really ready ??the night bullets ripped into him in an SUV??? i bet his last thoughts as his blood was spilled onto the seat was how much his mother would hurt..and that he would never kiss her again..how glamorous how cool..how tough..hip hop..jam master jay.one of the founding fathers..one of the few who had a positive vibe..no gangsta tracks..brains blown out in a studio.."unsolved' at the same time to have rap artist.. the audacity to say "we keepin it real" or to justify every line with "kno what im sayin?".. the point im trying to make is the most cowardly and wimpy and fake are the ones portrayed as the most sucessfull.. powerful and tough...rock and roll .. just watch any..any vh1 special and its allways tragedy sex drugs rock and roll so cool..drugs..overdoses..extreme alcohol abuse.orgys with groupies..almost all these biography specials all the same..just the names or bands change. even elvis the king of rock was found dead on his toilet bloated and stinking..how glamorous how tough he must have felt as he drowned in pills..still thousands of fans out there who ignore that after all he was the king..and had a right to die so painfully..kurt cobain rock legend so tough he blew his brains out to splatter on a wall behind him..how glamorous . how tough..but freestyle artist who sing of nothing but love..and partying..and life..they are wimpy no heart..no respect,, cry babies..no recognition ..no praise for thier work and sacrifice..no milion dollar pay offs..and mostly put down by the very people who actually claim to love freestyle..for them to continue..they are really tough..for to smile upon a judas kiss and continue..thats tough for real..and im not an artist but a real fan .. for a fan to bravely say "i love freestyle music" to something thats considered dead and support it openly with out worrying what people would say or think..thats tough thats heart..freestyle people are tough and passionate.and thats keeping it real know wha im sayin??
by the way 50 cent can kiss my ass...his mentor killed and hes collecting royalties on a song saying in every other line "blow youre mutha f*ing brains out" how tough how glamorous how much of a sellout.. he might as well go up to jays grave and take a piss..again im keeping it "real" and although i realise what you were trying to say freestyle pete... and meant no offense...think...in a time where the only dance tracks to hit now are rehashed.. remixed tracks of "classics"...while new "original" dance tracks getting no air time which are way better..in quality ..somethings wrong..i hear plenty of new school which i cant understand is not played on new york radio or the mainstream!!
