Hey Victor & Fernanda you know I met you two a couple of times and have told you what "Cheree's" music is to me. You also know just how much I cherish the music even if it has been a long time.That's the great thing about music, unfortunately "music" has a down side which is what you mentioned Victor. I understand your decision and respect it. Whatever the outcome, "Cheree" still is and will be a great reminder of a great time!! Thanks for everything!!

Fernanda- I've never met you before nor have I ever spoken to you, but it's a shame that you're leaving the Freestyle scene. You should take all that negative shit that is going against you and turn it into something positive for not only yourself, but for the artists that are following in your footsteps. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the industry, it ain't about talent anymore, its about how much records you sell and how big of an ass you have. It's sad, but it's true.

I just wanted to put my two cents in this. I have seen people saying they are leaving the freestyle industry because "freestyle" people talk sh*t, they are back stabbers, the are haters, they are this and that. Well let me tell you something, thats not only the freestyle industry, its the "MUSIC" industry. I have worked with salsa greats and its worse there. More gossip and hating. I have worked with the hiphop industry and the same goes there. Pop??? well you guessed it. same thing. Its not freestyle. Its the music business. You will always have pople promising things, talking sh*t, hating etc.. Dont leave the music because of these reasons. It will always be there. If music is somethng you want to pursue for the rest of your life then you have to ignore these things. and just in case people are asking why I left??? I left the music industry, not the freestyle industry., and it was for totally different reasons..

I have to agree with Willie!! Peolpe have been talking about me for ages and the funny thing is , they have no idea that everything comes back to me and then some! This is no reason to stop doing something you love and are good at. In fact we had this conversation a few weeks ago! If I or any artist were to leave everytime we hear people talking shite about us there would be no one left in the industry! Pick yourself up and and screw everyone!!! Rock on babe!!

Thanks guys for the great support! I know there must be bullshit in every genre, but unfortunately for me I've only been in freestyle and have endured enough. The music business is not going to change, but I have to in order to survive in this business. I always say knowledge is power, and if I want to play in this game called the "Music Business", I need to gain it. Music will always be in my heart and in my soul. I leave freestyle but not the music business. I feel it's time for me to move on and also try something different. Other types of music until I find my niche. Then the freestyle fans will know I'm back again but singing something I love to do.

Well everyone makes great points but I have not endured things like this in life. There are too many whiners in this business. I am involved in Salsa and I must say that it is not as bad as it is in Freestyle although there is a lot of crap going on in all genres but there are too many whiners in Freestyle. Chereé will be doing a show here and there but she's out of the genre. How come SKA has made a comeback and Freestyle still is struggling to get up again? Because of all the whiners and Back stabbers and producers who are in it for the love of the money and not the love of the music. When an old Freestyle Record company 'comes back' that should raise a flag that it's about how much more money they can make. So think about that.

If Marc Anthony, India or Brenda K. Starr put out a Freestyle song they would bring it back up. Have you asked yourself why is it that they don't do it? Makes you think huh?

Well do you really think India and marc anthony and brenda left freestyle because of the drama? not at all. Their management paved their ways to what they felt they were going to succeed. Please dont blame the drama. Victor as far as the sh*t talkers and whiners, I have never met more of those as much as i did when i produced salsa. Nothing but drama and whiners and sh*t talkers there. I had a good time doing it and I would do it again. But when I did it i couldnt believe the backstabbing and hipocrits i met. But i dont blame the music. Salsa is beautiful. Like jack said its life. Freestyle has been the best experience i have had in music. and believe me i have heard so much crap talked about me and I even recieved a death threat about 2 years ago. But I wouldnt trade my freestyle experiences for anything. Music is music. If you're gonna make it and its meant to be it doesnt matter what music you do. Good luck!!
