a comeback from MicMac Records would be sooooo great....
You also have to know, that MicMac Records was (is) the most wellknown Recordlabel (Freestylelabel) here in Germany.....
A lot of people asked the salesmen at the Local Recordstores back in the days.....Is there something new out by MicMac ???

I hope you make a comeback.......Cant wait for it....

I got the whole ShaBang..Including the Logo(s). But like I said in the top of this thread,

It would have to be done in a completly different way that brings new light to MicMac and it all had makes sence TO ME, THE FREESTYLE ARTIST, THE FANS & THE WORLD!

VERY IMPORTANT!!! We are not in the 80's any longer and if the company made a comback, It's NOT going to start off from where it left off !!!

People, GET USE TO IT.. Were in 2002 going on 2003

This is not going to be an over night desision on what will work and what will not and there has to be major planning involved.

At this time, I am not gonna promise anything but we will see what happens.

Just the fact that MicMac is coming back is good enough!! This is what Freestyle needs right now and many fans are patient about the process. I myself know that freestyle will be sucessful again. Keep up the good work Mickey

First I would like to say congrats on the lawsuit battle and the comeback of MicMac. Second, if you decide on pressing vinyl it would be awesome to produce a classic old skool mix because most people would probably perfer the new skool on a cd compilation(especially for the teenagers in today's society).Third your label was really big back in the earlier days here in Toronto, Canada. Fourth, will you still have different/various producers on you label like you did in the past? It sure would make it intresting. After all that's what a real compilation would be(I think). Anyways I wish you all the best and I'll be there.😉

I'm really happy to hear your considering reopening MicMac records. I wish you the best of luck and I can understand why you have to clear up the fact that it will not be continuing where it left of. Times have changed and music has changed and alot of people can't accept that because they are so attached to the classic freestyle and the memories they have . I for one am ready for anything new to come out and I have faith that if you do decide to reopen that MicMac will help Freestyle in general tremendously. Thanks for all the great music and hope everything works out. Best of luck and congradulations to ya.

This is great news ! This can definitely make some noise if MicMac starts making NEW freestyle ! Mickey, you should look into getting Johnny Budz from KTU to produce some new joints. His remix of Eyra Gail's "Heaven" is tight and is a great freestlye sound for 2002. Also, bring back a few of the old Mic Mac artists, but concentrate on new talent. Its 2002, we dont want to hear Abby Lynn or EXO, no disrespect. Do what you did in 1985. Go out and get that new blood !!
 
YEAH.. freestyletruth..no disrespect to the 80's sound cuz if i wasnt for them freestyle wouldnt have evolved into what it is today..but i think a new sound with the freestyle beatz in the background, lotz of vocoder vocals,but yet retaining the original freestyle sounds..like the stuff germany is playin today..that sound is pumping!!.just a thought mickey. take care

beatsfromdapast, No disrespect btu i think wax had its day. not many people use it anymore. not even the radio stations use it. its just a collectors thing now these days. CD IS IN! I had to come to that sad conclusion. 🙁
