One word to describe the show....SLAMMIN!

I don't know if anyone else posted up about this show...but who cares?

I got to watch Lil Suzy and Judy Torres...unfortunately I missed Johnny O and Cynthia due to the fact that I had to drop off the girl that I was with...and THEN come back to the show...(I'm sure she's worth it)

TKA!....wow...George Lamond....with the dude from TKA and some other guy....mannn.....they kicked major you know what. Any how...I got pics....I just have to scan them...I'll do that later on.

I AGREEEE!! IT WAS OOOOOOOFFF THE HOOK!!!! I have it on FILM!!! they were alll AWESOME!!! Of course my favorite was my girl Cynthia..JUDY ALWAYS PUT ON A good SHOW and TKA ALWAYS LOOKING MIGHTY GOOOOOD...and Johnny O he is such a sweetheart!! Lisa Lisa I got to see her after the show and she looks GREAT!
I did not know we had some more Chicagoan CF'rs...which is GREAT!!!YEAH!!!
 
I thought the show was great. My major disappointments of the night was that they said it would be open at 7:00 when it was actually 8:00 when the doors opened. Another thing, why would they have the DJs play longer than the artists themselves. That sucked. Another thing, why would you promote a Freestyle concert and then have the DJs not play but a few classic Freestyle songs. That really sucked. The artists were all awesome but the DJs were boring in my book. Next time I would hope they would play Freestyle to get the people more hyped up. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the night for me. The artists made up for it. I am glad I stayed to see them all and get pics. Too bad I couldn't have met some of the artists backstage. I think that was probably impossible. I can't say who my fav was but Judy was hilarious. I loved Cynthia and Johnny doing Dreamboy/Dreamgirl as well as seeing George with TKA. I wish he could have sang a few of his songs though. I can''t wait for another event like this🙂

Im glad overall everyone had a good time! It looked like a
great turnout from my point of view. You guyz have to remember
to support these Artists when they do their solo Club shows too!
All these artist have been in town at least 3 times this year..but
at clubs..remember to support everytime!

In regards to george lamond & k7 not performing their solo songs,
that is due to, only tka (the group) was booked for the event..
They would have had to book tka (feat k7 & george lamond)..(3 for 1)..
 
Can someone clear up what the whole deal is with TKA, K7....and the rest of that whole deal...I must have TOTALLY missed something...

As for the club thing...I would love NOTHING more than to be able to go...but most of the clubs they're at are only 21+...

Also, since when is George Lamond a part of uhhh....OH...TKA (wow...talk about short term memory...)

George performs as George Lamond & his known material (freestyle & salsa)
when booked that way, and performs as a member of TKA when booked as
a group.
 
Patty, the video footage you took, it that going to be put on their site (a clip). It would be awesome to see.

I hope we dont have to wait another 10 years for a Freestyle show like this.

I agree with Heidee about supporting the artists when they are touring alone. Living in Iowa, I will do my best as long as it is not on a weeknight. lol

hey hon, the tka footage that i recorded was the one for the group..
we've been documenting many things for the past year & a half..for
a possible release of some kind, in the future to compliment a cd rlse..
when? we don't know yet..when we know, we'll announce it.
