I sing, write music, and play piano. Considering I'm in the middle of nowhere finishing school nothing will ever happen with it.. and thats ok.. me and my piano are happy =) lol

Hi! I am a singer and my dream would be to get some kind of deal. I currently live in Iowa, but since there is nothing here, I am moving to NYC in Fall 2004 to pursue writing professionally. I am a writer, so I'll definitely try to get a writing job, and if the singing thing works too, that would be a wonderful bonus. Singing is a passion for me, but just to become a writer and have artists sing a song of mine would be amazing!
 
I sing and make the music I sing to. I have some songs in the works and have one 98% done and I'd like to show it off. I had a friend play it at a party once. He put the song in with a bunch of freestyle he was playing. When the song came on he got a big smile and said," the person who sings this is standing there". I was stunned and at the same time I was like YEH thats me! everyone said they would have no Idea it fit in well with the ledgends that he was playing. Id love to post it but how?

I think about 2-3 people have heard me, including the guy standing behind me at Pazzo's he complimented me, but I didn't want to stop in the middle of the verse to say Thank U- I did thank him tho
