Hi peoples!!

Ok, I think this is a good idea. I also think that we are trying to cater to a lot of different tastes.

Here is my suggestion:
1) we go to a restaurant/pub. This way people can smoke or not smoke, they can have coffee, a snack, a meal, dessert, it is still affordable ($10 or less can cover you, even $2 really), and the 19+ is not an issue. It is in a well lit area with background music, but is still quiet enough that we can have conversations. And it is a relaxed setting. There is also those NTN trivia games in case some people get bored, or so we can have a mini competition. It'll be a good ice breaker. Also, with it being at a restaurant we can make "reservations". Most casual places don't take them, but if we let them know a bunch of people are coming from cf, then when people show up no one is trying to figure out who and where people are in the place. Saves confusion and possible embarassment. Having said that my suggestion is a place like Jawny Bakers (st. Clair and O'Connor).

2) While freestyle music is what has brought us together, I don't think it has to be an integral part of the first get together. Definitely, we want to keep it involved because it's part of us. But I think that the music playing wherever we are meeting is secondary to the purpose of us getting together. I think this makes it easier to choose a venue that isn't a club or a noisy pub.

3) It seems like Thursday night is what everyone likes, so shall we say Thursday November 14?

Let's say around 7 pm. That way if people want to eat something there it's still around dinner time. And it's early enough so that if we hang for 2-3 hours we're not getting home past midnight, cause people have work and school the next morning.

i like jade's idea... but like PINO said.. we can all meet up within our areas first... i dunno.. whatever u guys decide 🙂
 
All right for each area here are some possiblities.
Scarboro - Flavors At Kennedy
North York - either Swimming Pool or (use to be) Coffee,Tea,Or me on Dufferin St.
Danforth - Frappa on Danforth St.
St. Clair or College - a couple of places there, pick one.
Mississauga - ?
Woodbridge - Plantation or Tom Horton's on Hwy 7 & Weston.
Markham - ?
Richmond Hill - ?

Any other sugestions ?
