Mr. Freestyle86 ... as someone who is young and probably doesn't know ANYTHING about the music business if you really think DJs and mixes are the only thing that keep freestyle alive, then you my friend (well, not really) are dead wrong. And for your generation to say that all you have is mixes to live on is a joke because I know people your age who like me actually search for freestyle albums and compilations in stores and all over the net. So don't go saying all you have to live on is mixes or are you just too lazy to actually search yourself. Third, DJs for the most part keep the "old school" generation alive, not the new. Of course this is a business but I'm not going to support DJs who constantly do what other DJs do and put the same old classics in their mixes.
And I don't mean one or two classics, I mean the whole 20 or 30 songs. And the next time you decide to insult me thinking you know about my feuds and my thoughts on mixes, next time do your research and stop being a baby about all you have is mixes to live on.

As for BIG JUAN ... People we all been scammed once, twice or numerous times in our lives. I for one don't trust the internet. I never give my credit card info and I never use those things like ebay, amazon, etc. Everyone knows when paying through the internet they are taking a risk when it comes to purchasing items, even music. Yeah ChuckD it is a big deal when losing money but people should know in advance (even those who claim they had no clue) that a risk is involved. I'm NOT repeat NOT excusing the actions of this BIG JUAN dude but I would not let a dude like him get to me enough that I can't live my normal life. You would be surprised how much money I got scammed through Amazon and even though I never got my money back it's just taught me that next time I want to purchase something it definitely won't be through the internet.

First and foremost your right I dont know alot about the music industry.Like alot of people in this site, Im just a fan of freestyle music and I enjoy it very much. Im just telling you from my perspective as a young listener of freestyle music. If you actually open your eyes and look at the ages around here my kind is in the minority. What I wrote it is more easier to find a freestyle mix instead of a freestyle compilation or full length album. For example I frequently shop at a popular retail store and went to the dance section and what did I see the Bad Boy Joe mix cds and Divas of Freestyle mix cd. I did not see any of your freestyle comps at this store only at lesser known stores did I see them. So on the average freestyle consumers will find a mix instead of comp and im not talking about online thats a different arguement. I too talk to freestyle fans of my age and what do they tell me that they love the freestyle mixes. They might know the song or artist but they know the dj. Im not saying that djs are the be all end all of the genre but they are a vital key in keeping it alive. Yeah they have alot of the old school in the mixes. Its not like theres alot of new school success to speak of. Im talking about the past couple years. So dont give me Angelina, Buffy or etc.

Ok so tell me if its not the DJs keeping the freestyle music alive than who is?, I dont see alot of progress being made in this genre of music in the past few years as far as having a breakout success. May I say I wish every artist and producer the best of luck. Especially Caleb B, I enjoy his music alot. Also who are you? Are you an artist, producer, executive at a record label? Get it out whats the beef you have with djs? All I know is that among kids my age freestyle mix cds are more relative than because of their accessibility to the consumers.

On to online which I said is an different arguement. You made a wrong assumption im not lazy. I have searched online for freestyle mixes and comps and I found the ones I like and I ordered them. The Internet is a wonderful tool. Yes I had some problems with an order but you know what I didnt give up on it like a chump. So I finally have freestyle greatest beats comp. I sent emails and I got my moneyback it took a while but I did. Online retailers are not scams like you take a liking to saying there are credible retailers. Yes theres a risk involved but more often than not the risk pays off. If you havent notices online sales are through the roof and will continue to go up. So love it or hate it, its not going anywhere.

Finally stop acting like a moron and get your facts straight before you say something idiotic oh you already done that.

Yo on the real, I have been hearing alot about this in the last couple days, and personally I am sorry to hear this happen to all of yous, I aint no fan of freestyle, nor do I down it, and I have no ill will towards freestyle heads, but this is upsetting as a dj to see someone who calls himself a DJ and to be constantly ripping people off, cuz I mean 1 person, I see ill will, 2 people, might be her and her friend hating on you, but like 100 people, something is wrong, I have lost all respect for juan man, I know this kid to, sorry to see all of you guys lose your money, but on a happier note, I am here to simply just state this, if you log onto my website and for those of you who like Hip-Hop and reggaeton, I will be posting free mixes, for you to stream and download if you guys like that then I appreciate it if you wouyld drop me and email and once the sight is fully functional, which will be within a day or two tops, I will let you know.....but for now the sight name is http://www.jrealthedj.com and please feel free to share this with anyone who loves or even likes hiphop.......sorry once again to see all you guys get ripped off......but come to my sight and get something for free, lol

I hope you don't get offended with what Im about to say...you shouldn't and if you do than you a little punk lol But you are not a smart shopper. :nono

For you to say to people that purchasing over the internet is a risk..you are dead wrong...there is no risk if you a smart shopper. What is the difference of pulling out ATM money and a mofo is across the street in his car with binoculars?

Purchasing over the internet is the best thing that came into our lives since God spoke to Moses.

Through Ebay I got all the rarest Freestyle CDs there is. Try finding Nocera album on real green grass if you know what I mean.

Legit websites are secured...and you can always dispute the charges on your CC...but the risk is not to the point of scaring you from ever making a purchase on the great world wide web.

I cannot imagine what I would do if Ebay did not exist...I won't have my great Freestyle cds, my hot throwback jerseys...and all my 250+ DVDs in which many I purchased for $4 each on the internet!

Point of the matter is..it's theft and something can be done...the law is out there waiting. What I don't understand is...how can this jabroni take people's money on a phucking product that is not done yet.

Every transaction I made online has been perfect and rare I gotten burned...but I always come out winning! and some! For realz.

I only got 2 things to say 'cause this post is annoying as it is ...

1. FREESTYLE 86 ... I can see you like to get the last word in conversations like this 'cause you think you KNOW it all. Like many people you are just giving your opinion and you can't speak for your generation 'cause it's obvious you know nothing about DJs, the record industry or even FREESTYLE for that matter. And it doesn't matter who I am 'cause like I said before I know more than you and have actually been around music since the time you were in your diapers playing super mario bros. And also explain to me how I didn't get my facts straight? And "stop being a moron and get your facts straight oh you already done that"? lol .... You really are trying to be a smart (_|_) especially at 19. I'll say it once and I'll say it one last time you don't know ANYTHING at all about the business and you got NO facts to back up anything you say. And obviously I'm not going to argue with someone who knows nothing and claims to know a lot. Grow up and get some real knowledge.

2. Enigma ... you're right it's not a risk if you are a smart shopper ... so does that mean everyone who ordered from BIG JUAN is stupid? lol I wanna see you explain that which obviously you will. Also speaking about your purchases ... I actually have what you could call "connections" in which I don't need EBAY, Amazon and other internet stores to get rare freestyle albums, singles, etc. Maybe you don't have connections like myself that has lead you to use this course of action and if it works for you then cool.

P.S. If anyone else wants a "crack" on me, then go ahead. I'm done with this post.

The reason why I say a smart shopper because there are ways to protect yourself online and protect your credit cards etc. I don't recall one time worrying about putting my credit info online for purchases.

Those who preordered from Big Juan are not stupid. :nono I can understand wanting freestyle music and hot jams etc I know what its like to love something so much and you have no problem shelling out money for it.
Personally I would never fork my cash to something that is not complete though. And if I ever were to preorder...it would have to be something that sells to the masses...not just a small crowd.

OK, I don't live in Elgin, Illinois anymore, but I know everybody in the area. The Elgin Police Department won't help you, Mr.Perez lives in Carpentersville, an adjacent city. You may want to try and contact them, if you want to pursue or inquire concerning possible legal matters.wat is going on with Mr.Perez is sad, the fact that he's not fufilling his obligations, and then the nasty retorts.I have known him from as far as ten years ago, and this is not like him at all.He is a name DJ in the Chicagoland area, so for him to act in this manner, is troubling.Somebody mentioned e-mailing Issac at legends of freestyle(this is the Issac that sang "In My heart"), he's a good guy, I'm sure you might get some feedback from him.And on a persenol note, I though his freestyle tapes lacked quality. This is the same area that has Tim "spinnin" Schommer, and Juan "2big perez" was not remotely close to producing the caliber of freestyle mix tape that Tim Schommer would produce.

Courts, thanks for the info.

Now, please keep the thread on topic. Let's not bash each other.

the point is to get the word out on the person who is ripping people off.

Hmmm, i live in Germany....Phoning is a little bit expensive....i
already
sened money can u send out the Mix ????

so, now he said it is not ready and before yes it is ready.....so, whats going on ???

since that day he is ignoring E-Mails and whatever else......I also got mails, that he wants to have more money because of the shipping costs to Europe and i have sended him more. I can proof this thru the Mails and also thru Paypal.

It is a very long Rat-Tail whta he has done....poutting up some stuff arround half a year ago, receiving money saying it is not ready and it would take longer (fraud over E-Bay in my eyes) and so on.......

Yo Peter I know how expensive stuff is to send to Europe, trust me, this is a good lesson 4 tha future!

No, you cant see I dont care about getting the last word. I care about getting the right word. No I dont know it all and I never claimed I did. Only someone like Joey Gardner can claim he knows it all, if you know who that is. You care about getting the last word because you bailed out of this thread. I know your gonna come back because chumps like you always do. So everyone you talk to about music has to be in the music industry to know something thats a joke. You have no credibility if you cant say what you are in the business or what you did. Maybe you were an intern or worked as a janitor at a record label and talked to some people so know you can say that your are in the business. Oh I dont anything about Freestyle music Ive only been listening to the music since I was five. I have an uncle who is a freestyle artist and producer. I often talk to him about freestyle and the business. I also have a friend who is a freestyle dj. What facts did you have in your arguements ummmm 0 as in none. Ok in your first post you said no one complained about the Dos records well actually somebody had a thread about that. Ill would suggest you do a search on it but your probably to stubborn to do that. So thats a fact. Ok heres the link for that thread http://www.clubfreestyle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51209&highlight=Dos+records. You gave no facts only your weak and petty opinions about djs, freestyle mixes, and online purchasing. So take a long look in the mirror because your the one who needs to grow up.
