The S.O.B. sent me an email calling me a F***Head and telling me that he owns Club Remy.
 
Great now you can call the Better Business Bureau and report him.... Or pay him a personal visit.
 
I never dealed with that SOB but I am willing to help out in anyway that I can...I hate crooks...we need to cut off his hands.

Personally I don't understand why people are making such a big deal out of this ... I mean no one made any big complaints about DOS records not shipping their compilation as scheduled. I didn't see anyone sending constant E-mails or even discussing ways to go straight to the business itself, but yet everyone goes on like it never happened and make a big deal about this situation.

And as for this Juan guy ... I don't know him, don't wanna know him and don't care nothing about the guy. I don't really like DJ mixes to begin with 'cause it's the freestyle songs (music) that make the mixes good, not the DJs. Not to mention I got something against supporting DJs but that's another story.

Anyway, if you got ripped off that bad ... I say you got 1 of 2 options ... either move on and remember this lesson well ... or two ... spend the rest of your free time wondering where these cds you ordered are when you could right now be buying some legit mixes from those who actually have a "clean" business.
 
It's a big deal because people are losing their money.

As for Dos Records, Pete has contacted people who ordered from him, and told them the cds are not released yet, and there will be a delay.

He even came onto this board, and addressed the issue himself.

This other guy is telling people to leave him alone, and closing his boards, and not answering the emails sent to him, except to call the people he is "dealing with" liars. Pete from DOS Records has not done that.
 
Hey Latino wit talent ur ridicuous, it is a problem when somebody orders and pays for merchandise and doesnt recieve them. Wouldnt you be complaining if you order and spent hard earned cash on anything doesnt matter if its a cd and didnt get it. You will probably be pissed off. Thats why people are complaining because there pissed that they didnt get what they paid for. Complaining about a problem does work. Maybe you must be rich so it doesnt matter to you.


Also on more thing Djs and mix cds or tapes is keeping this genre of music alive in some parts of the country. For the new generation of freestyle fans like me thats all we have is freestyle mix tapes. Djs are very important to this genre of music. Ill bet you if you ask anyone around my age and ask them if they have freestyle mix tapes or a name any freestyle cd by an artist they would tell you they have a freestyle mix. So freestyle mixes are very important and the Djs are important. Whats the big problem you have with djs. You need to get over your petty fueds and appreciate freestyle mixes.

freestyle, i was one who ordered from dos records. don't you think a year plus is way too long of a wait, just to receive a cd that was supposed to have been released last march? at that time, pete should've just released what tracks WERE finished and released it as Volume 1. then when the next set of cd tracks are finished, release that as Volume 2.

as for getting back to the paying customer, it took several emails (in over 2 months) sent to him just to get a response. why is that? that is not very professional.
also, his site is not exactly updated on a regular basis.

also, it's hard to believe that we are still waiting for the product to be finished, when we have been told that 3 times already in the last year? when will it FINALLY be released? in 2007?

i would hope that if and when the cds are actually ready, pete will have a record of the transactions (those who ordered from him). i should not have to email him just to say, "pete, remember me? i had ordered from you over a year ago! don't forget to ship my cd!"
sounds ridiculous , doesn't it?

Pete is serious. You will get your CD when they will be released.
sometimes it take longer, but it will be a better CD 😉

chris, i'm not necessarily saying that pete is scamming us. what i am saying though, is that things weren't exactly done in the most professional way. we should've been updated automatically without having to constantly email him, just to know what was going on.

in the future, a cd should not be made "available" to order on his website, if it is not finished/ready. this would eliminate all the hassles.
