Half the people in here that posted in this column didnt even come to show support for the artists or the show. Thats a plain fact

22 different people posted in this thread

8 of us were NOT there

Ummmm that's less than half. Might wanna figure that one out again.

But don't forget that some of us that were NOT there have seen these performers before. 🙂

Company B...yeah that was Vocal Image with Ashley way back in 1994. It was our first collaboration through a mutual acquaintance. That was our first track ever...on vinyl I might add...and it started our little but exciting career. The plans are eventually to re-make it with Angel and Ashley, but the timetable is not yet set. Glad you liked it and I hope you were lucky enough to get a vinyl that wasn't warped. I think half the records produced for that single in that year were very poorly manufactored.

DEMMIT TED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You messin up my odds here! :lol

Oh wait! 22 to 9...that's still not half! *wipes brow* Whew!!!!! 😀

You people seem to forgot when a fan pays money for a show they deserve the best show that is possible. I dont care whether its old school, new school or elemantary school.

Well I was at that show Pete. And you know from the chat on Sunday that there was someone at that show that I was not impressed with, but I didn't come onto the boards calling them out, now did I? Sorry you don't feel that you got your $10.00 worth... :whateva

Angel Mena, Fred Nice, Nya, Cheree, Ayna, Philip Anthony, Ashley, Danielle Simone, Artie & Legit, Alex/Latin Nation, Liz Torres, Manny, Nick Colon...I got to talk to you all at the show, get your autographs, and I had a blast! If I had paid $25.00, it would've been worth the price.

I've said in other posts (and this is the last time I'm saying it) that due to my ears, Backdrafts was my last freestyle show, at least until they heal. Thanks for making it a great one for me!!!!!!!

HEY WAIT, NYA AND MOST OF THE OTHER ARTIST KNOW THAT IF I HAVE TO I'll show up wearing pj's and bunny slipper, with daniel in one arm and angie beating me over the head with a pan if i have too to show support...lol

:lol

I wasn't fussin cuz you didn't go to the show! I was fussin cuz you made my numbers as to who posted here and who didn't go change! Thought it was messing up my odds! 😉

Chuck D i thought that show was well worth the price I am saying that if u pay to see a show u should expect to see certain things. I have seen 95 percent of those acts at least 2 times each and i still love seeing them perform.Dollar for Dollar the back draft show was the best bang for the buck. Plus I buy cds when the artists release them unlike other people that expect free cds and mp3s or buys bootlegged mixes where the record company and artists dont get any money for the hard work and energy they put in the song.

I don't go to many shows/concerts...but like I said before, I didn't regret the long drive from Delaware to see these performers sing live. The sound system wasn't perfect, but what the hell...I had fun regardless!

I didn't have a problem with any of the artists that night (does that sound like blowing smoke up the a...?) LOL! I hope not, I mean that.

It was fun, If I had a chance to do it all again, I would.

Hey guys!

What can I say! The night was a blast and it was great seeing all the old acquaintances as well as meeting some new ones. It was great to catch up and also be surprised with such good news from good friends. (Congrats to Nick and Gia on your marriage and little bread in the oven. Congrats also to DJ Soul for your big bread in the oven.) LOL!!! To all the artists on stage that night, I have to give you all mad props. It’s not as simple as it looks to just get up on stage and do your thing, maybe for most but I know not for me. It’s a shame when you want to give 110% to your fans and industry people but circumstances prohibit that from happening. I for one wanted to sing live that day and I tried despite the microphone problems, but like most took notice I did my best with what I had. But all in all, we all did our best and we did it for the love of the music and for our fans.

It was great to see everyone together, always a pleasure to bump into old faces and it was a pleasure meeting new ones and you know who you are.

Kool Fred,
I can't wait to hear some new re-make/remixes of that track.
I hope you, Angel, & Ashley turn it out!
That song brings back some really good memories. 🙂
