I don't hear ktu's morning show, because it SUCKS! But a reliable, freestyle fan/buddy of mine informed me that BALTAZAR was saying some very negative comments about SAFIRE!

I intend on writing to KTU. BALTAZAR is not funny & KTU is sucking in the ratings! if this is BALTAZAR's way of trying to capture listeners then he's going about it the wrong way.

First KTU cuts an hour of freestyle on sunday nites, and now they diss one of our pioneers/divas of freestyle!
 
Do you have any idea what he said? There have been a number of requests lately for emails, calls and letter campaigns that I don't really see enough member interest in to make a BIG IMPACT on any management at any station anywhere.

Sandman this disturbs me a lot!

Maybe if you post some of this guy's comments, more peeps would get really enraged enough to put some freestyle muscle where it might count like at the doorstep of KTU.

What do you guys think?

Should we leave this alone and just let KTU continue to do what they do UNCHALLENGED. Let all these stations continue to reduce any freestyle being played, not play the few radio tracks coming out, forcing labels out of business making it so artists must abandon freestyle completely just to earn a living! I'd like your opinions please.

I heard it this morning! I was so freakin pissed off! that guy is a total D**K!! I called them this morning and told whoever answered the phone that he SO got his information wrong!!!!


It just showed his disrespect.

Safire never was or ever will be a ONE HIT WONDER you asswipe!

The other morning, Balthazar and Goumba were going off on Coro. Goumba was joking about starting his own record label and signing Maria Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Coro. So 1 of them goes, "Yeah, Coro has been looking for a record deal since about 1984." I thought that was a very stupid comment to make.

I didn't hear the Safire comment, but I did hear the Coro one.

They were joking about Mariah getting kicked off her label, and Balthazar said he would start a label of his own, called "Has-Been" records. He said he would get Mariah, Coro, and some other artists as well. I can't remember who exactly, but he did name one or two other freestyle artists.

Tell Balthazar and Goumba they can kiss my :shakinboo
