i'm just wondering why some people hate on stevie b... i love most of his songs even though they get played out to the fullest. i've seen alot of post up here saying bad stuff about stevie... i'm just wondering...

pay no mind freestyle freak. its just negative energy. if someone says something about someone that seems to make sense, then the person who sees it, starts saying the same thing or if not the same, then it'd be a different ordeal dealing with the same concerns. it puts them in that same kind of lingo. it once tried to happen to tka, its happened to stevie b and a loot of others. LOL, it even happened to me back then.

I, personally made fun of his looks but i think his music s great no matter what!
I had a bad experience once with him though, but thats ok i'm sure he had his reasons.
 
i dont know why either! but im not one to argue with them 😀
he's got some great stuff but i guess some ppl's got different taste 🙂
 
well - i don't like stevie because of his voice - it's all whiney n stuff - and the last cd i got of his was one of the crappiest things i ever wasted my money on.

it's not that i hate him......it's just his songs are sooooo played out and i guess his voice is tiresome and it's at the point where i dont wanna hear his music anymore........peace
 
Stevie B's early FreeStyle is good

...and that is why his songs are played out--because they were good enough to get heavy rotation on a nationwide basis. So, he should get credit for that.

You can't question his success.

played out or not, I beleive Stevie B's music is a standard in any freestyle music lovers collection.
 
Stevie B i think is well known all over the world.....

He was 2 times performing in my Hometown "Nürnberg" here in Germany and the People were getting crazy when they listen to his songs.

The first performance were not so crowded, cause they dont made is so public or they just forget it to do....

The second performance i dont remember if it was 1 or 2 Years later was overcrowded. They made promotion for the act.

PS: Mostly here in Germany the people knew that especially Stevie B mad Freestyle - his song "Spring love" was overplayed here also the same with Lil Suzy "Take me in your arms" and Nyasia "Now and forever"

let me list my reasons why i dont like stevie b

1. he is horrible to his fans
2. 20 bucks to get into his fan club, then never get anything sent to u
3. that early retirement bussiness scheme
4. played out
5. some of his songs are just blah dumb!!!

now i do love his classics but recent behavior has mad most of us see other things about the man!!!!

first off with the fan club crap then i have heard many stories of stevie b just ignoring fans or down playing thier devotion
 
I agree with Peter. Stevie B is the most known freestyle artist around the world.
He did a lot of shows here in Brazil and some of them were attended by more than 3000 people. And it was not a show along with other artists, it was just him. It's also important to mention that people round here don't speak english and even though his shows were constantly packed.
I agree that some of his stuff do suck but in my opinion this guy has a lot of talent.

I would have to agree with toni...he is truely horrible to his fans i have heard and seen so many bad things it is not funny any more.

And that whole retirement scheme was just a scheme to try and get rid of his vast stock of old albums to generate revenue. He thought his fans were stupid and would fall into such a trap.

As an artist i think stevie's old stuff is pretty good as a person i think he is two faced..always putting money first..it aint about the music anymore.

A lot of ppl in the freestyle scene have told me that they have little to no respect left for the man anymore and chose to try and ignore him.

that is my 2 cents....for now.....
 
Stevie B does suck as a person, but his music is good. He is to money hungry, @ Freestyle Rush in Philly, there was an incident in the beginning that happened with the club owners and the people who paid to get in, (such as my girlfriend and I) the club said to be there at 7:00 over the phone, when we got there there was a private party and that we could not get in, but the club said that they wouldn't make us wait outside so we paid $20 and went in. When the party was over they told everyone to get out. When everyone said that they paid $20 Stevie B came outside and started getting loud with us and said " I don't know who you paid $20 to, but that is my money! Go back outside and go through the front and pay $20." And to top it all off, at the end, he charged you $5 for his picture so he could sign his autograph, when everyone else gave you an autograph for FREE!
