MEN CHARGED IN BECKHAM 'KIDNAP PLOT'
Five men have been charged with conspiracy to kidnap former SPICE GIRL VICTORIA BECKHAM.
The men, who can't be named for legal reasons, were arrested following an alleged kidnap attempt on 2 November last year (02).
A spokesman for London's METROPOLITAN POLICE says, "Officers from the Kidnap and Special Investigations Unit have fully investigated the allegation of a conspiracy to kidnap Victoria Beckham.
"Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, it has been decided that they will be charged with the offence of conspiracy to kidnap Victoria Beckham."
Security surrounding Victoria, her soccer star husband DAVID BECKHAM, and their two children BROOKLYN and ROMEO, has been stepped up since the incident, which was exposed with the help of a British tabloid newspaper. (TN/WNWCAN/CPT)
