sometimes if a good song is played alot itll just make u hate the damn song more and other times its the opposite u hear a song thats not that good and the more they play it you start liking it.funny how life works lol

wow intresting topic i truthfully can't think of a freestyle song that i feel was the was worst i guess sometimes people do put the wrong voice on the wrong track but i happen to like both fantasy girl and tears shed at least if its the version i'm thinking of but hey to each their own like i always say "IF AIN'T FREESTYLE IT AIN'T MUSIC" and we might not like some song's now but we all know we were probally blasting the shit out of em when they came out.
 
oh crap.. i happen to like plenty of the songs mentioned here. except fantasy girl which i think is one of the more "hate it or love it" type freestyle songs, u cant just like it a bit.

my personal all-time least favourite freestyle song is sarina paris - mystery man

And i dont have anything against the artists or anything like that, I think everyone has songs they hate no matter what genre of music it is. I also like rap music but there are a ish load of rap songs i cant stand, same goes with R&B and rock. My list above may be favorites to some of you, but thats why god made us all different :sunshine

I was going to add "hungry for your love" by Hanson & Davis, but after seeing him perform it at the Copa in May, Ive been rocking it since.

In any line of business, you will have someone critique your work, and it doesn't matter how much you believe in yourself. If the critique is cruel, and not based on fact, it can cause hard feelings. Threads like this have people stating thier OPINIONS, and opinions are like ass**les, everyone has one.

I don't kick people off this board for expressing thier opinions. Any of the mods here can tell you that I have stuck up for people who have spoken badly against me, when the debate was taken up as to whether or not they should be banned.

i wont defend fantasy girl that much. but i loved the song. if you were saying what cuased freestyle to looose some hold on the scene maybe i could agree with the fantasy girl comment but even i liked that song lllloll.

and tears shed ill defend that song to the last tape in this house. that was a great song.

sorry those were to great songs.

It's all about opinion. I don't think there is any freestyle song that is completely bad. I think they all have they're strenths in different aspects. Not everyone can have vocals like Tony Moran or Judy Torres. I mean maybe Emery Torres isn't as powerful as Judy, or Joey Gold's voice may not win him any awards, but Tearshed and Devil in My Heart were done with feeling, with heart, and with me that gets alot of points and I think the lyrics many of us can relate too. It's all about what people's tastes are.
