SiameseSher,

In the past, how many shows/concert or artist's live performances did you see on video or CD??? Not a lot, assuredly!

So, personally, I don't expect anything new in Freestyle in the future. It's over and over the same stories...😱

You asked a question for me and answered it for me.🙂 Pls don't make assumptions, that isn't considerate. If you knew me well, then it woud be different story. 😛

I seen enough. :cool

I seen budget ones that were not that great, and I have seen very polished and professional ones where the image was given as if I was at the concert. Oh and also them unlegitmate ones with a one hand held camera, those are the worst.

When you have artists from different labels and different directions it is a challenge to gather them up after the fact once the contracts have been signed to adjust from what the contracts states. That is only half of it.

Maybe in the future, who knows. I will be all for it.

99% of the ones filmed are on hand held cameras!

Yeah, really Kenny. 😉

Could you give me a list and the year of the release dates of those VHS? But honestly, since around a decade (around mid-90s)I didn't see alot of shows or concerts from Freestyle artists/bands on VHS or onCD. Before this date, of course it was different!

Sory, I dont keep dates! You just asked "In the past, how many shows/concert or artist's live performances did you see on video or CD???" and of course, I had seen TONS!

Hmmmmmm. I should have been more specific. The Handheld VHS camera which is recorded on ELP (6-8) hours. The ones where are filmed from the last possible row or crooked angle. Like a bad home movie. Ugh the unfortunate camera slips or drops, my eyessssssss :crap

This thread reminded me of the Party Machine with Nia Peeples and also Club MTV.

Francis, who knows, if all the minds in the freestyle music world find a common ground, it would be fantastic to have a dvd or vhs a good professional release of a concert show. When I do pop in at tower records, I go to the music dvd section. All music is represented fully from Jazz to Opera, but what about Freestyle?

I wonder if there are local tv shows that talk about the things that happen in their city or area. Have one of them broadcast and tape their show at a freestyle event.

What ever happens I will do my best to support it.

SiameseSher,

I'll keep in mind your advise because I don't know who you are!!

It's cool . No one really knows me here.
One thing I do wish it go to more concerts. I have only been to 2.
One I was sitting sooooooo far away I had to see their big screen to see what going on.

The other one was the Public Enemy concert. I liked their music, but at decibals of 10 airplanes their music was so painful to hear.
