well personally ive never cheated in my life,
but i have had people cheat on me.
i personally think its out of insecurity, distrust or just to impress their friends. and it can also be out of spite, and revenge...

I have never cheated myself nor could I stand to be in the presence of someone who is a cheater. It thoroughly disgusts me.

Cheaters cheat because they have no moral fibre, no conscience, no respect for themselves or for others or for the sanctity of a commitment.

Because of their total lack of morality they don't care that they are hurting others, or that they are hurting themselves. They have no honesty and no conscience so they don't care. They are horrible people who are like rapists because they violate your trust.

In fact, they are worse than rapists because anyone who you trust yourself and your emotions to know your most sacred and vulnerable feelings and they violate them in the most crude and awful way. It's easier to recover from a rapist because all they take is your body and your short term security, but a cheater violates your self esteem, your ability to trust, your ability to be emotionally intimate with another person, your life security. You put your life, your heart and your emotions into a cheater's hands and they destroy you on the most fundamental levels when they violate u like that.

Why do they do it? Because they are spineless assholes and they are cowards. If they had any balls they would be able to say to the person they are with that they want out because they found someone else. But they don't because in case one of the 2 or more relationships doesn't work out they have the other(s) to fall back on. I hope I never get cheated on. Nobody deserves that. I'd rather be told to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! off in no uncertain terms than to find out I had been cheated on. Also, it wouldn't be too pretty for the guy who cheated either. Luckily (for me and him), my boo isn't like that.

People cheat for different reasons...
the lack of sexual tension with a present partner
the fear of being alone in a long run
the circumstances they were in when cheated (aka DRUNK)

there are so many reasons... can't really list them all since every cheater had a different motive.

but as fr myself, i never cheated nor was i cheated on. i would call a cheater a cowardy lowlife jaskass. (excuse my french)

You are comparing apples to oranges sweety trust me on this. A rapist is the devil in disguise and is cold hearted without feelings. He doesnt care about his life whatsover, he doesnt care about his future.

I know what you are trying to say in comparison, but a rapist is something of so horrific, that it shouldnt be compared anything.

Easier to recover??? My lord try saying that to a child! A child who had no say, its a nightmare! A child for years as a teen and adult has to live with that dark disgusting feeling she/he experience from such a sick evil. A rapist is pure evil and cold and doesnt care. A cheater at least thinks and it not as brutal cold hearted. A cheater can be forgived, but not a rapist!!!

someone who molests a child IS a cheater... they cheat that child out of their innocence and violate their trust.....

when i say cheating is worse than a rape i am speaking of rape in regards tot he physical violation. the emotional is the worse cheat/rape.
