I don't hate her. I'm just tired of the song take me in your arms. I lived in a italian neighborhood and it's like they never heard of any other freestyle artist but her so I started to dislike the song. But she aiight. important thing is that she still got her fans. and peeps still like her even though she not lil any more.
 
aahh man. i remember back in middle school, i used to watch the box all day waiting for her video "take me in your arms" to come on (and it came on often lol). definitely one of my fav freestyle artists, and she may not have the greatest voice, but i still love it. i guess its just the way she sings, emotions she puts into each song. i use to talk to her online awhile back and then she came to orlando to do a show and that was first time i met her. ill never forget that night!! even though like 3 ppl back out on me to go to the show but i still ended up goin by myself and even met her after the show, signing some autographs and talking to her for a bit (even though i was speechless most of the time 😛). shes definitely a great person, wish i could still talk to her

Personally, I feel she's gonna be in the game for a very long time, and she will be right up there with the rest of Dance/Freestyle music's greatest. She's a smart business-woman and that's her advantage.

For being a female in her early 20's and accomplishing so much, I'd like to congratulate her.
 
I never read anyone really dawg Lil' Suzy in any posts. I like the beats she had in the late 90's. "Do You Wanna Ride" has gotta be my favorite by her, so sexy!

Comparing all freestyle artists to people like India, Nayobe, SaFire, Marc A., etc. is ridiculous. Not everyone can sound like that. They got like SUPER diaphrams or something! lol Doesn't mean other artists are bad, just different styles, voices, etc.
 
i like her music. she like nyasia keeps up to date. changes with the time. so any one who thinks different has no taste, plus my man has a pic with her. she is really nice.
 
Well it is peoples own opinion if they like Lil Suzy or not. But to go as far to judge her and say that she 'sucks' is just wrong. She truly is a big part of Freestyle. She's providing us with quality music. We should appreciate that. Fan or no fan of Lil Suzy... her music is awesome and we as Freestyle lovers should give her props for that. Thatz my 2 cents.
 
Lil Suzy is indeed, a pioneer figure is the Freestyle movement. She is one of the few artists who have been there for over 10 years, yet can still relate and draw new fans to the movement. With George, Judy, Angel, Cynthia and the rest of the Legends in their mid 30's, Suzy is in the unique position to compete with the "belly brigade" of Britney, Christina, Beyonce, etc. for the loyalty of younger fans. I will always be a fan of hers as she has always been loyal to her supporters. She came through with a visit to my Boys and Girls Club years ago arriving in a snowstorm for may 25 kids who had also braved the weather to meet her. At the time, she was just about their age, yet already had videos and CDs out. She spoke about the importance of getting an education and preparing herself for after her music career. Her Mom was also there which made for a very nice family portrait.

Whether or not the "natural" talent is there isn't pertinent. She can boast of a 15 year career at the age of 22!

By the way, Madonna wasn't considered such a great singer back in 1983, either...I wonder whatever happened to that belly baring former Funhouse partygirl?

she was coo, I ve seen her Perform a couple times.. an OK act.. the Last time she sang and left as Speedy was tryin to interview her...lol, "When I fall in love" was a cute hit... I dont' think "Turn the beat around" was such a great move though... See the video on Launch....

no one can say she sucks, she is amazing at what she does, people that don't even like freestyle will dance to take me at clubs, and how can we forget about her best song she ever did well i think it is and that is Real love. i remember seeing her in concert a few times in Toronto and she had the place packed i remember standing inside the place i looked out the window and there must have been about 1000 people lining up around the whole building waiting to get in and the place was already busy inside, is that a nice turn out or what? it was about8 or 9 years ago and she started to sing real love accapella styles and her voice sounded soo good. too all those people who say she sucks then i guess there not really true fans of Freestyle
 
yeah i don't know anyone who hates Lil Suzy... here in Toronto we love her... she was basically what got me into freestyle... SHe can rock the house, that's for sure 🙂
