I love this show and still watch this show,older people are hilarious and sophia is number#1.Blanche is the slut,we all have one friend like that.Rose is the dumb blonde from st.olaf.Dorothy is the daughter of sophia.They lived next to "EMPTY NEST" another show that I love with the late RICHARD MULLIGAN(HARRY),KRISTY McNICHOL(BARBARA),DINAH MANOFF(CAROL),DAVID LEISURE(CHARLIE),dryfuss the dog,later ESTELLE GETTY(SOPHIA).I loved when the charcters visit each others show,classicT.V!

I beleive it was last year,I was sad when I heard about it,I always wanted to see a reunion of that show,he was an excellent actor and person.I believe his death was of natural causes.I also loved him in "SOAP",and he had such good chemistry with KRISTY & DINAH(WHO PLAYED HiS DAUGHTERS ON THE SHOW).

I love The Golden Girls....they are hilarious. I like Dorothy the best cuz her jokes & comments have me rollin especially when Rose says something dumb & Dorothy just flips out on her....lmaoooo.Then Sophia comes in 2nd cuz she is one funny ass old lady!!!!

The Golden Girls is one of my all time fave TV shows!! When Lifetime aired the reunion of the show, an article ran in TV Guide that said that the Golden Girls is one of the most popular TV shows amongst college students. It is one of the funniest shows ever! My fave character is definitely Sophia! She had the best lines and was always cracking me up! But of course all 4 of them had their own quirks!
