I love Freestyle till my dying day, BUT........how can there be a KING and Queen of Freestyle when the people you name do not even have Freestyle music coming out anymore. That does not make sense to me.

just by volume of her massive catalogue cause some of the others had fewer records she to me is the best though others may out shine her in other aspects she was and is the one who continues to fight your fight
shannon and lisa lisa are more the godmothers/inventors of this art form and should be held out side of this running

My vote goes to SAFIRE!

SAFIRE has had hit after hit on various billboard charts, her music has been played in all the major top 40 radio stations & more, she's appeared in a ton of major publications (elle magazine, spin magazine, billboard, in fashion magazine, us magazine etc....) has appeared on american bandstand, party machine, pat sajak show, joan rivers show, tiempo, latin connection, etc..... has toured throughout europe, japan, south america spreading the freestyle sound, has had several quality music videos, work with top producers (carlos berrios, tony moran, david morales,). she's won an ASCAP award, 6 New York music awards, 3 desi awards.

and sooo much more -

as a matter of fact even some of the better known freestyle ladies (cynthia, judy) havent done what SAFIRE has done.

do i need to prove my point even more??

SHE IS A SHOW STOPPER AND HAS HIT AFTER HIT AND HER SHOWS ARE OFF THE HOOK....

EXACTLY. and remember people, this isn't anything official , this is just your own opinions. besides who would want to be King or Queen to an empty Kingdom? Camelot is no longer here. but again this is solely my opinion. I don't think anyone in that whole entire list has put out anything new,so you can't judge by that. at least not anything that has been heard on the radio except for Safires duet. This is all about who is YOUR Queen and King.
 
This is about respect and love for the music FREESTYLE-no matter if your from the west coast or east coast or canada or germany,its about the love for the music and its artists who braught us all together,I personally love all types of FREESTYLE and dont care were its from.
