Looks like alot of people love LIL'SUZY-to me she's the PRINCESS,she still has yet to be a queen of FREESTYLE like SAFIRE,ANGEL,or JUDY TORRES.
 
Safire definitly. I remember the first time I heard her. I was like now thats a girl who can sing her a** off!!!
 
Just keep in mind!!

The "groundbreakers" Shannon, Lisa Lisa, Nayobe and even Alisha (not mentioned here) have never to my knowledge been considered much in this sense by many.Yet it is an undeniable fact that they played a more important part by paving the way for so many others after them.Whether you consider them Freestyle or not, the sound was related.
 
my vote goes to SAFIRE, simply because in my book she has accomplished soooo much. Without a doubt, one of the most popular artist to come out of the latin dance scene.
 
To tell yo the truth I don remember ALISHA? until company b told me about her,thats why she did not make the list-she wasnt poular all around the U.S like these DIVAS are.

cool but i think they are all queens in there own way they each bring something unique to freestyle :listen
 
I decided to pick the QUEENS-solo artists,not group or duo,thats another category-group effort,ETC..and for TRINERE,there was no room,true she is a diva but not exactly a top 10 like the ones I chose.
