Here is my take

1. My first true love was an Argentinian. I am white and American. I grew up in South Florida (Miami-Fort Lauderdale) and speak fluent spanglish. I have a 15 year old boy his name is Joseph Enrique.

5. If the biggest problems this world experienced resulted in the strong love between two people of different cultures and races the world would be an absolute joy to live in.

Call it limiting myself, by "I" personally prefer to date Latinos & Italians. Preferably Puerto Ricans, & Italians that speak Italian & have that "Latin/Gino" look.

The only thing that I would say has bothered me about it, is when the "white" person gets all bent outta shape if everyone is speaking Spanish, lets say at a family gathering or something, & when offered Spanish food they're like: "Eeww, what are "pastelés"? What is "Pollo"?, "Flan"? - See, now THAT'S ignorant!

Its never happenned to me, but I have seen it with people I know who have dated people like that.
Ignorant & corny, & truly makes the Latin family not like them much.

Well, I have a weakness for Latin men and I see nothing wrong with interracial relationships. As has been said before, it is hard enough to find love let alone that it be with a person of a certain race or religion. However, while my parents arent old fashioned they do have their preferences. I am a white, Jewish girl and I dont think they would be thrilled if I was involved with a Hispanic guy. I have been in love with a guy who is mexican and they werent too thrilled about it. It hasnt worked out between us, but I often wonder if it had, what I would have had to deal with as far as my parents go. Im very open-minded but not everyone is. I think the main thing is that you find a love who wants you as much as you want them and is everything you are looking for in a mate. In this day and age, its hard enough to find a good person.
