I see nothing wrong with it.. I myself, am a "gringo", and I grew up in South Florida, Miami.. But I never thought anything about it, negative or positive. Just like Chuck said.. So long as the couple is happy and they are treating eachother well.. More power to the interracial couples.. I MEAN IMAGINE what both of them could actually bring to the relationship - regarding culture and food and personalities. So much more..
 
Company B, I have to agree with you. I've dated allot of Latin men in my life and yes, when I was at a family gathering, I felt a little out of place. I didn't understand anything that they were saying.

My two sons are both Half Puerto Rican (dad) and Half Italian (me) and I love them to death and I also make sure they are proud to be both nationalities. But when you have two totally different "customs" it can be difficult. If we were together still and had all of our families together and it was time to play some music... my family isn't into anything other then rock and here is me listening to Freestyle and dance music while my kids' dads family want to hear spanish music. Me and my cousins are open for anything, just like my kids' dad's cousins and stuff... it's just the older generation, you know?

Don't get me wrong, my family never said anyting about me with latin men, I don't think society looks "down" on latins/whites as much or any where near the way they did/do blacks/whites.. you know?

Finding love is hard so believe me, when I find that right person, the color of his skin is not going to be my concern or what my family/friends say.

You can consider me "white"... but I would love to date a Spanish dude. Definitely nuthin wrong wit that! On a plus, I would never disrespect their families. My family is just like any other deeply cultured, roots to their country, type of people. LoL Betchu u dun kno what Mousaka is.. HaHa
 
There definitely is nothing wrong with whites and hispanics dating. Heck there's nothing wrong with interracial relationships. I think it's a beautiful thing. My daughter is 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/2 Filipino. She's my little Filirican. And yes I agree 100% mixed babies are beautiful.

well my bf of 5+yrs is latin... obviously if I've seen something wrong with it, i won't be with him... what others might think really isn't that important 🙂

Seriously, I'm from a Greek background, my girlfriend (the luv of my life) is Latin, her parents hail from Chile. I take it as a wonderful excitng adventure to learn a new language/customs etc etc. This whole "ol'skool' outlook of what parents/society says and does is absolute BS. Love the one you are with NO MATTER WHAT COLOUR/NATIONALITY/BACKGROUND.

Live your own life, not what society wants you to live!!!

That's because Hoboken is one of those snobby preppy filled cities with a bunch of stuck up people who think anything "different" is wrong. Granted, not all the people that live there are like that, but damn it's a small ass town and majority of them are so closed minded.

I personally think there is absolutely nothing wrong with interracial couples. Love is love...no matter what skin color, nationality, etc etc.
