I absolutely love "I will not Cry" "Reveal your love" and "I Wanna Know" (especially the break - lore lo lai, lore lo lai...)

You are a trully talented guy and I hope you keep doing great freestyle songs as you've been doing it. The three songs that ive mentioned are, in my opinion, absolutely great freestyle tunes. The beats, the keyboards, the lyrics and your voice are just fine.

Emery, your song is a pure hardcore freestyle song and, as other have mentioned it, it's a true classic and nothing will ever change it.

tearshed on my top 10 songs.....the vocals are classic and the keyboard sounds might be off key in todays standards but, it is still one of the all time freestyle classic jams and it is in everybody who has history with freestyle from the old days......you mention tearshed and they start singing it... :whistle

so if you dont work with mkg, well pm me when you reADY

That song would be awesome if it wasn't for the horrid vocals. :crap
 
Wow, thank you all so much for your wonderful support. I'll agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, Lord knows I have made my comments, but never would I make a cruel statement like that about another entertainer like that. It's ok, I'm over it now, and it feels good to know that I have people like you guys to back me up.

I like "Tearshed" alot and Emery I used to date MKG's cousin! So when I met Mike he told me all about the recordings in the bathroom.. Good song good vocals!

Nancy Martinez's lil Intro to "For Tonight"... where she goes.."arriba, Arriba!...(some wierd noise..) Tonight,..Caant we be in love..I want you to love me..." It sounds ugly... no wonder they dont play that Into to an otherwise Great song...
 
Whats up? Glad to see Clubfreesstyle is still around. According to my welcome message it's been a year and 1/2 sense my last visit! I love Tear shead. That was one of the first freestyle records that got me hooked. It could of been sang in french and it would of still been the bomb! Emery if it would of been sang any other way, The song wouldn't be the same. I believe Denine made a cover in 95 and I prefer the original! Don't get me wrong guys and gals,...back then it was tough, and MKG was tough on me, but we have been in contact since then, and now everything is different. He has nothing but respect for me and I for him. What happened then is in the past and I am one who knows how to forgive and forget and go on with my life. I never let anyone or anything get me down or make me feel like I have no talent. In fact MKG and I want to try to come out with something new and HOT!!! :band , so as soon as we get started on it I will notify everyone of you guys and gals on this website. It'll be a smash I promise you all that!!!

Girl no matter what u went thru making the song i just wanna say thank u cause that song makes me think of the good times !!! i will always love that song.... as for a new song that would be great definetly looking forward to it!!!!!

I, just like you am a freestyle singer and you can ask anyone close to me, the song that was the bomb when I started creeping into freestyle was "Tearshed". The year I decided to sing, I sang your song in a street festival and many people thought that was me, lol! But I still love your song, regardless of what people say. Your song was an inspiration to me, and it helped me get through one of my most hardest times in my life. My first love brake up! What you say in your song was exactly what I wanted to do and I did in some way. So revenge was mine, but girl your song will forever hold a special place in my heart.

MKG "Tears Shed" back in the Day was the JAM...the odd off key vocals are what made the track so good,,, Was alomst like the chick had some deep shit to say and didn't give a F!%^ how it sounded, just that she got her point accross...
I think this might be why NU-Freestyle is not the joint like the oldschool was, because the productions now are too quality. It was the Raw underground tracking vocals in the bathroom with a Radio Shack Mic that made these tracks the SHIT!
Nu-School producers, Break out the 8 Track Vestex recorders and do your thing!
 
tears shed and (can't fight love ''my favorite freestyle song''). anyway being off a little thats what made songs like these so pure and from the heart. before production was all that mattered in a song. being a producer and remixer myself i still find and make songs that are off a little intentionally just to give it that feel.
